Story
"Only cats" make great companions - and we are sure Lydia will be someone's bestie.  Lydia had a rough start so she prefers humans to other cats and dogs scare her. She definitely enjoys being an indoor cat now and loves to be around people.  We are sure there is a quiet house with gentle, loving people with room in their home and hearts for her.  She doesn't ask much, except no belly-touching, but hey, a girl has to have boundaries.  Please consider giving Lydia a chance to show you what a great companion she can be.  Lydia's adoption donation is $90 , which includes Felv/FIV testing (she is negative), her spay, all vaccines, and dewormer and flea treatment. She is estimated to have been born in June 2018. If you would like to meet Lydia, please contact Amanda at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com. Thank you for adopting! Story
Castiel is currently located in Chester County, PA. Castiel is a diamond in the rough that's also sugarcoated with sweetness that can only be rivaled by actual sugar!  However, we won't actually "sugarcoat" the situation.  Castiel has had a rough life, and it can get the better of him.  Anxiety is his biggest foe since he was a kitten.  He was rescued from a hoarding situation, which does explain the root of his fearfulness.  He was fortunate enough to be adopted, and he had a sibling who seemed to have helped him with his fears.  He was also compadres with two dogs, and he became particularly bonded to one of them.  However, after the sweet canine passed away, Castiel's anxieties exacerbated.  Whenever he feels anxious, he will hide until he feels safe.   Since his living conditions weren't ideal, Castiel has been placed up for adoption again.  He suffers from IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease), and if he has a flare up, he can't eat much if anything.  He'd be in too much pain to eat even if he's starving.  He's currently on medication right now, and he's doing wonderfully.  However, his medicine must be given to him regularly, otherwise, he'll have a flare up.  When he's in pain, it's incredibly heartbreaking.  He becomes agitated, and who wouldn't?  He'll become a little nippy, but he doesn't mean it.  In fact, he grabs on to you as if he's trying to tell you he's in pain, and he doesn't know how to make it stop.  It's his only way to communicate to humans whenever he's in pain from the condition.   Castiel's situation isn't ideal for him or anyone.  However, once he feels safe with someone, he becomes super attached.  You are set to have a best friend for life!  He's always there for you, even if you aren't feeling your best either.  He understands probably better than anyone!  He enjoys company, and he really likes it when you allow him to join the family during dinnertime!  Humans are great conversationalists, and he would like nothing more than to listen about what you did that day!  Gentle is the best word for this kitty!  He's probably one of the most considerate and understanding creatures you'd ever meet!  Soft pets on the head and treats are two of his favorite things, so if you want to win his heart, these are the keys to it!  He's hoping his new home will be on the quiet side, but he also wants one more thing: a friend!  He's been told that his anxiety would be lessened if he had another kitty friend at home.  They could show him the ropes, play together, and bond!  Seeing how anxiety and IBD are linked together, it sounds like a perfect recipe for love!  So, if you feel your kitty at home could use a new sibling, Castiel will jump at the opportunity to win your heart! He surely wouldn't have to try, believe us! Castiel's adoption donation is $90 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and neuter. Story
Stella is one of the most loving cats her foster family has ever had.  Nothing phases her (except other cats...she is wary of them), and she wants nothing more than to follow you and jump on your lap, make biscuits, roll on her back, and headbutt you.  Oh, she will give kisses, too!  She would make a wonderful therapy cat because she is social, oh so loving, and engaging!  She's very soft, too, with her medium length hair and floofy tail.  She isn't tied down to loving on any one particular person--she is an equal opportunity lovebug!  If you are human, she is all over you!  She is best friend material.  She would also make a wonderful companion for an elderly or special needs person because she is extra gentle.  Stella's adoption donation is $60 which includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay. If you would like more information on Stella, please contact Ellyn at lovingcarecatrescue@gmail.com.
