Jake is a friendly, outgoing 3-yr.-old Tuxedo boy. He loves being around people and is always quick greet new friends. Whether he's playing fetch with you, snuggling up on your lap, or just napping nearby, Jake loves hanging out with his humans. He can also be content playing on his own or snoozing when people are busy or out of the house. He is good with kids and has never been aggressive. Jake is an only pet, but was socialized with cats and dogs as a kitten. He is an indoor cat. He is patient with grooming and nail trims. He is in good health, is neutered, and has his shots. Jake is litter-trained and generally good about using the litter box. He will use scratching posts and pads, especially if you encourage him with some catnip! Jake is a very sweet, friendly boy, but due to developing cat allergies and changes in our family, we are looking for a new home for him where he can get the love and attention he deserves. Momma was found at a local State Park campground (dumped?) and has been fixed. She had a litter of 4 handsome boys who have all been adopted via PetSmart. I no longer have the financial resources to care for her. My friends apartment where I've been looking after her is vacant except for she and I. I can't afford the rent here so we have to go. I'll be homeless and that's not right to put a defenseless animal through that. She needs to have a forever home, she's been indoors for 6 months and can't go back to living outdoors. Please find it in your heart to help her. She's a beautiful young cat. It breaks my heart to have to move her.

We found Mika (Simon's Mother) under our car & she was pregnant. We gave her food ; shelter and she delivered her kittens the next day. We found homes for 3 of the 5 kittens and have had Simon since then. We already had 2 cats and with Mika, Simon and his Brother Bubs - we have 5. That is too many for our home. Simon is 8 years old and very intelligent. Simon is very loving, loves to play and likes to cuddle on a lap or chest in the evenings. He plays well with his brothers and enjoys the outdoors. He is an indoor cat but likes to go out in the fenced yard to bird watch during the day! He is very loved but we just can't have 5 cats. He is very playful and loves to chase feathers or any play toy. We are also looking for a home for his Brother Bubs, while it would be great for them to go together - Simon would be a great single cat.
