Once abandoned in a park and left to fend for himself, this incredible boy has overcome so much and is now ready to find the forever family he deserves. Basil has the most soulful eyes and a heart to match. He absolutely adores his humans, loves to give hugs, and will happily chat with you about his day. His diabetes is well managed, and he thrives on a canned food–only diet (he’s especially fond of Weruva Press Your Lunch Chicken, Tiki Cat Dark and Stella & Chewy’s freeze-dried chicken). This gentle sweetheart would shine as an only pet, though he can coexist with a calm, respectful kitty who gives him space.
