From the Foster Home: Ember is the sweetest girl. Ember has faced a leg amputation at a young age. She has learned that people are her friends. She loves to be pet and play with toys. Ember’s leg amputation doesn’t slow her down a bit! Her love glows, especially with ear scratches. Ember can be shy at first! She covers her face with her paw when she is unsure. Ember got along with our male and female cat. She loves her soft blanket in a safe corner of her foster home.Our cat adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered and microchipped. They receive the FVRCP (feline distemper combo) vaccine, have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas.Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. This is especially important if you are viewing this animal on any site other than Animal Services` website.

Niels Bohr is an 8 year old orange cat with white markings. He is very smart, knows his name and enjoys toys. He is not very good with small children but does well with our small dog and other cat. Since we got the dog, he started to not use his litter box. We've tried multiple tactics but it didnt work. The vet said its more of an anxiety disorder and would do better in a home with no other pets. He loves to snuggle!

Story
Uhtred (oo-tread) is named after a Viking warrior to help him be strong and brave. He tries to live up to his namesake with mighty little meows but Uhtred is, at heart, a shy lil guy. He likes to be close and involved, but not too close. For example, he might check in on what your doing, but from a vantage point or down the hall. Uhtred prefers to enjoy company from a safe distance. He is good at being handled and will let you know when he does not want to be with some Viking-like grumbles. We have had him for 5 years. He patiently moved across the country with us from Virginia to Washington (over 2800 miles)! Uhtred loves liquid treats and soft catfood. If you’re lucky, he might stand up on his hind legs for a snack. He is a good boy.
