Story
This sleek, shiny, panther of a cat is a wonderful companion looking for her perfect human match. Teeny Tiny is small in stature and as light as a feather, but big in personality. She enjoys being where you are, preferably right on your lap. Even if you cross your legs or lay on your side, Teeny will do her best to lay on you.Teeny might also desire some alone time, and when she emerges from a solitary nap she'll begin croaking then sidle up next to you and put a paw on your arm, indicating she's ready to be loved. If that's not enough to get your attention, she'll begin licking your hand or plowing her cold nose into your arm. If she really wants to communicate with you (maybe she wants playtime or for you to make a better lap for her) she'll give your hand some love bites.TT wiles away the day looking out the window, laying in a warm sun spot, plucking at her cat grass, or sliding under the covers and wrapping herself in a ball of blankets. She likes a good cheek scratch and is more than happy to be brushed while on your lap. All you have to do to get her attention is call her name or pat the couch and she'll come to you. She's also pretty comfortable with new people and is happy to be one of the gang. Teeny is a gorgeous black cat with strikingly beautiful eyes and one funny white whisker that stands out against her fur.Teeny Tiny is an older gal, though you wouldn't know it when she starts to play. She chases strings and feather toys, and goes full panther-hunting-mode when she gets fixated on the toy. Ideally she'd have some interactive playtime twice a day, as nice bookends to her lap time. Her past home reports that she has lived well with other cats, but in her first foster home she saw the resident cats and dog as prey. We recommend TT be the only pet in a home with adults.Teeny is looking for a family with some cat experience who will help her live her best life. This senior girl has Chronic Kidney Disease, a condition very common in older cats, and is on a prescription wet food diet with some Miralax mixed in to keep her regular. She also has a heart murmur which doesn't seem to be a problem for her. If you can keep an eye on her eating, provide fresh water, regularly clean her litter box, and take her to any vet appointments, she'll thrive in your care and reward you with lots of love.See just how teeny tiny Teeny Tiny is and visit her in her foster home in Ballard! In a FOSTER HOME (not at the shelter; please note the different email address). To meet this cat, please download and fill out an adoption survey found here:https://www.seattle.gov/Documents/Departments/AnimalShelter/Cat%20Adoption%20Questionnaire_Fillable.pdfSend to: sasfostercatapply@gmail.comNOTE: These instructions are only for cats in foster homes.
