Both boys have medium energy and enjoy playtime together, often entertaining themselves with their brotherly antics. Chuckie and Nugget have independent personalities but also enjoy spending time with their humans. They would thrive in a calm, indoor-only home with an experienced adopter or foster who understands that shy pets sometimes need a little patience while they settle in. Because they can be a bit cautious with new situations, they would do best in a home with pet-savvy children aged 10+ who can respect their space. They are not good with cats, so a feline-free home will help them feel most comfortable. We have had him since he was a baby; he has grown up with my son, and then he went to my grandma and was with her for the last 4 years, till she passed this last year. We tried finding him a home among our friends and family, but we were unable to. We are moving now and want to make sure he has a loving home to go to. We are very sad to have to find a new home for him, but we are just unable to take him. He was an indoor cat for many years and has just this last year been an indoor, outdoor cat. He eats and drinks when he wants, we leave his food and water out, and he does not overeat or anything we feel like. He currently lives with another cat, and they share food, water, and a litter box. He is very loving and snuggly, and needs his nails cut once a month or so. He is a little shy and skittish at first, but once he gets to know you, he is all good. He lets you know when he wants to go outside and come inside.
