Jack was born on July 8, 2024, and I adopted him on August 10, 2024. He is a sweet, gentle, and calm indoor cat who loves a quiet environment. This is an incredibly difficult decision, but due to the financial burden of his recent medical care, I'm looking for a loving forever home where he can receive the care he deserves. Jack was recently treated for a urinary blockage and will need a prescription urinary diet, fresh water at all times, and routine veterinary care to help prevent future issues. His medical records and discharge paperwork will be provided. I'm looking for an adopter who understands the importance of urinary health and is committed to giving Jack a safe, loving, permanent home. He has many happy years ahead of him and will make a wonderful companion.

Both boys have medium energy and enjoy playtime together, often entertaining themselves with their brotherly antics. While they can be a little shy at first and prefer a slow approach, once they feel safe they show their gentle side and do well with being held by people they trust. Chuckie and Nugget have independent personalities but also enjoy spending time with their humans. They would thrive in a calm, indoor-only home with an experienced adopter or foster who understands that shy pets sometimes need a little patience while they settle in. Because they can be a bit cautious with new situations, they would do best in a home with pet-savvy children aged 10+ who can respect their space. They are not good with cats, so a feline-free home will help them feel most comfortable. She can be incredibly affectionate—nuzzling into you, curling up in your lap, and showing her softer side when she feels comfortable. However, Kyle has always had a feisty streak and can scratch or bite when the mood strikes. Two roommates adopted Kyle in Atlanta in ~2014 after fostering her for a period of time and falling in love with her unique personally. Once they moved to California, she's been living with one of her initial adopters and their family since 2015, moving between San Francisco and San Diego. She’s currently living with two toddlers, but the chaos of a busy household has become too overwhelming for her. She has started scratching and biting, even unprovoked, which has created an unsafe situation for both her and the children. Kyle is FeLV+, which means she’ll need to be the only cat in the home unless any resident cats are also FeLV+. Kyle would thrive in a calm, adult-only home or with a family with older children who understand her boundaries. She needs a patient, cat-savvy adopter who will give her the space and understanding she deserves. In the right environment, Kyle will be a loving and loyal companion—on her own terms. She loves coming up and asking for cuddles and pets, but also needs her space when she's feeling feisty. Kyle is FeLV+, but hasn't had any medical issues as a result. She is currently taking Prozac, which has been helping a lot her scratching and biting (she's generally gentler and scratches/bites less frequently). .
