Story
When I was trapped in the feral colony, it was quickly determined that I was NOT a feral cat! I admit, I do hiss a little but as soon as I feel safe, I will be rubbing all over you and wanting attention! I can be quite vocal at times but most of the time, I am pretty quiet. I am still a little unsure of other cats so you will hear me growl and hiss but I am not trying to attack them! With a little patience and slow introduction time, I would probably like another kitty for a playmate. I would also be just fine being your one and only fur-baby. I really like being inside without all those scary things outdoors but I would like a window or patio door to view all that goes on outside. I am very curious and playful. I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and tested negative for both FeLV and FIV. I am hoping for a new home to explore where I can truly show you my potential for being a great companion! Please fill out the application online at www.sccpets.com, so we can meet and see if we are a good match! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.September 8, 2026, 10:01 am

Story
My career change is the primary reason to re-home Meka. Meka was born on the dole plantation on Oahu, roughly May 1, 2018, giving her age at just over 8 years old. When my neighbors were visiting Hawaii for vacation, they found Meka and managed the veterinary needs for transporting her to their home to join their many other cats. After a period of time, the new kitten did not fit with my neighbors' other cats, so when asked I accepted Meka to my home. When dog sitting a golden retriever, Meka is curious to enter the room. I am looking for a new home that would appreciate an affectionate and playful new member of the family. She has a mellow presence and often is ready to greet when arriving home. Meka is litter box trained and is content with dry cat food. I let her outside with supervision. Meka is vocal when hungry, sweet, cuddly and playful. She is adorable to lay on her back for attention, when reaching the top of the stairs or pass by the hallway when starting my work day.

Story
Jasper is an enthusiastic goofball who loves 'talking' and being around people. He's always happy to meet new people and just be where everyone is. Jasper isn't much of a lap cat, though he does love to be held. He has a quirk of preferring to be held by someone who is standing (he also loves to perch on shelves and other high places). He also likes playing and enjoys tunnel-like spaces and jumping for toys. He's walked on a leash before and does enjoying going outside for brief periods. Jasper would do best in a household where he can be the center of attention. He is good with all kids but would prefer older kids who wouldn't chase him around. He has lived with another cat before with no major issues but has not been around dogs much. Jasper is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He has always had a sensitive stomach and consistently requires some wet food (he seems to do best with fish instead of beef or foods). We have recently given him a probiotic, which has helped.
