Story
Astrid is a gentle 8-year-old calico- tortoiseshell girl looking for a stable, long-term home where she can finally relax and feel safe. She’s naturally shy at first, but once she warms up, her sweet personality really shines—she loves lounging nearby, keeping you company, and even playing fetch with her favorite hair tie. Astrid has a trauma history, so she needs to be the only pet in the home—no other cats or dogs. She thrives in a predictable environment and would do especially well with someone who works from home or is around often. She makes a wonderful quiet companion and “background buddy.” Due to ongoing financial instability and frequent moves, her current home is no longer able to provide the consistency she needs, and it’s been very stressful for her. She deserves a calm, secure space where she can truly settle in and live a happy, fulfilling life.  Sweet Astrid lives in Portland with her family and her rehoming fee is $50.  Astrid is indoor only.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 16,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Meet Banana Split Sundae! If there were an award for being absolutely adorable, Banana Split Sundae would be a top contender. This gorgeous 2-month-old calico girl is as sweet as her name suggests. With her beautiful patchwork coat, fluffy-soft fur, bright curious eyes, and the cutest little face, Banana Split looks like she was designed specifically to melt hearts. Her unique markings make her a tiny work of art, and her playful personality makes her impossible not to love. Watch Banana Split and her siblings here! https://youtu.be/ax-n_QIF4aQ?si=YKUqzC8_k55WwB-i One of Banana Split's favorite places to spend time is perched on a sunny windowsill, carefully watching the world go by. Whether she's bird-watching, soaking up a sunbeam, or simply enjoying the view, she always manages to look picture-perfect. This sweet girl absolutely loves affection. Scratches, cuddles, pets, snuggles—you name it, Banana Split is a fan. She's the kind of kitten who leans into your hand for more pets and happily soaks up all the love you have to offer. Soft, fluffy, and endlessly cuddly, she's basically a living stuffed animal. Banana Split is currently thriving in a foster home with other cats and dogs, where she's continuing to learn about the world and build confidence every day. She's growing up surrounded by friends, helping her become a well-socialized and adaptable little kitten. She enjoys spending time with her feline siblings and would likely love a kitty friend in her future home. Like all kittens, Banana Split is still discovering the world one adventure at a time. She spends her days playing, exploring, cuddling, napping, and finding new ways to be adorable. Every day brings new experiences, and she's embracing them with curiosity and charm. If you're looking for a kitten who is equal parts beautiful, sweet, cuddly, and charming, Banana Split Sundae might just be the perfect addition to your family. Meet Holly Hobby Holly Hobby is a stunning dilute calico beauty with mesmerizing golden eyes and a quiet grace that will melt your heart. Holly loves to be petted and will look at you with those eyes so that you can't help but oblige! Petting her is very satisfying because she stretches her body into your hand to get the most out of your offered pets. Holly is a gentle girl who thrives in a nurturing environment, as well as having a flare of the calico confidence. She is looking for a warm companion who is happy to hand out pets. She is a quiet, easy kitty who requests pets by reaching out a paw and cute mew, and then leans into enjoy them. She is on a prescription diet to prevent crystals in her bladder. She eats her prescription food well. That is the only special care she needs. She will do best in a home with adults or a kind-hearted singleton. She also needs people who understand that not every cat enjoys being picked up. When her foster picks her up, Holly just lodges her complaint with management by squiggling and squirming. This sweetheart wouldn't resort to claws! She currently lives peacefully with other 4 cats and 4 kittens and would be happy in a feline-friendly home — or she’d be just as content being your one and only. Canine visitors put her on her guard. She is very tidy with her litter box. She loves a comfy blanket and a good view of cat TV. Holly Hobby asks if you will be her friend? Porco is a sweet, curious, and playful flame-point mix with striking blue eyes and polydactyl front feet with a big personality. He loves attention, exploring, and being around people. He’s energetic but also affectionate once he feels comfortable. Porco would do great in a home that can give one on one time and prefers to be the only animal in the home unless someone catches his attention which is rare. He loves to play, and will cuddle all the time.

Story
This is Tiger, a ex-friend asked me to baby sit him a year and a half ago and never came back. Tiger is a very sweet boy, is is 10 years old, he is neutered. He loves to cuddle and is sweet for the most part. Unfortunately I have my own cats and he does not get along with them whatsoever and is aggressive with other animals. I cannot keep him at my home. He does love to get pet, and he will tell you when he has enough (which is pretty fast) but I think that’s because he can smell my other cats. Tiger is a strictly indoor cat only. He does eat hard food and prefers to drink out of a cat fountain (if it’s a bowl he likes to go fishing lol)Tiger is very vocal and loves to have conversations with you.He was rehomed 3 months ago, but unfortunately the person could not meet tigers needs at that time. When he is in a new environment he does get a bit angry and prefers to hide until he feels confident and comfortable, which is why he needs someone who is experienced and patient with him.

Story
Buster is approximately 12 years old and is very friendly to people and loves to get attention and affection. He’s a lap kitty and occasional bedtime snuggler. He has been with me for over ten years. We are making the difficult decision to rehome him because 1) he doesn’t get along with our other senior cat and the aggression is getting worse every day and 2) we just had our second child and are simply outgrowing our home.We really need to find someone who will love him in his final years and give him the care and attention he wants and deserves. I wish that could still be us.
