Story
These two beautiful littermates have been together since birth.  They miss their elderly owner whom they spent 24/7 on her lap.  Sadly, the owner passed away a year ago and the family can't keep them any longer as they are limited to the number of cats they already own, per landlord. Yvette and Yvonne are very shy of strangers and would need a lot of love, compassion, and patience from their next owner.  Currently, they spend all their time on the adult granddaughter's bed.     They will need a calm and quiet home environment with a cat-savvy person who is retired and has plenty of time and a huge understanding of cats, preferably an older woman.  One who would be happy just to watch them from afar, at the beginning. They have the option to go outside from time to time on their own, but need to be inside only for at least 3 month period to get acclimated to their new home before allowing outside.  A Catio would be ideal, but a cat tree in front of a picture window to view their new world would suffice.  Cat scratchers are a must.   Yvonne likes playing with the red dot. Yvette comes when called. Neither like being picked up and the family respected that.  Yvonne likes light petting on the head and back and Yvette likes pets around the head and will headbutt you, wanting more.  Both were fixed at a year old and were recently vaccinated with FVRCP (treats/prevents distemper, Herpes, URI) and Rabies, in January and February 2024. They are flea-treated monthly and dewormed prophylactically. And they will be microchipped upon adoption. Yvonne occasionally gets eye discharge probably due to herpes zoster and will have eye treatment meds provided. We are asking for an adoption fee of $220 for the pair and we will deliver them to their new home.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.  Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 17, 2024, 7:19 pm

Story
I got bug when she was tiny little baby from a litter in California. She’s been with me for 6 years. She used to live with me, my roommates and their cat. Since I’ve moved away I work all the time and feel bad leaving her alone. Ideally she would move to a home with multiple people another animal, or maybe even a family who wants to give her a shot! She has a great personality, very smart and human like lol

Story
We got Cocoa from a friend. Their barn cat gave birth to a litter, which we took Cocoa and her sister. We have had her for 5 years now, but since adding our latest cat to our family, Cocoa has developed some bullying tendencies towards our other cats. She has stressed the others out to the point we have had urinating accidents from her and the others. We are looking for a home where she can thrive as either an only pet or smaller pet family. She is beautiful and is very sweet with humans.

Story
I found her in late January. She kept coming up to my back door meowing not for me but for my dog she wanted to play with my pit bull I couldn’t help but fall in love with her they got along so well. Not to long after I realized she was pregnant with it being rainy and cold outside and she was starving I couldn’t just leave her outside I tried to find her owners but I had no luck. She has since had her kittens and and I’ve gotten all the kittens adopted out but now, unfortunately I have to move and I cannot bring her with me so now I need to find her a loving family shes very loving and spunky, very, very talkative and strives for attention and gets along with dogs very well. I’m not sure about other cats though. I want to say shes about 3 years old and is outdoor and indoor. She would make a perfect cat for any loving family. I have three story cat tower a cat carrier a self cleaning litter box and drinking fountain a bag of cat food and liter that all goes with her.

Story
Xander was born May 9th, 2019 and I have had him since he was weened from his mother. He was the runt of his litter and stole my heart from the moment I saw him. He has always been my wild love bug. He is a fantastic companion with some fun quirks. He LOVES to snuggle and get lots of scratches. He is fantastic with kids & strangers. He is a big fan of knocking things off counters, playing with rubbish and getting into all sorts of hijinx. Ever since my partner and I combined households and brought our cats together there have been problems. Xander is very territorial and likes his space to be his own. He likes to be the king of his own castle and keep his human parents all to himself. He is unable to share a litter box with another cat. It breaks my heart to pass him on but he will be happier in a new home where he gets all the love and attention.

Story
Rehoming my senior(11) cat, he is unhappy being in a home with young kids and now we have another baby on the way he would probably be happy and healthier in a slower and less chaotic home. He would need to be in a home with no kids and no dogs, ideally no cats. He is very aggressive towards dogs. He is slightly overweight and this is something we have been working on with him. He is mostly indoors but does like to lay out in the sun in our back yard, does not leave our yard though. Not overly affectionate but does rub against legs and ask for pets as well as sometimes snuggle on the sofa. Would be happy in a calm home with someone looking for an older kitty companion. No medical issues as far as we know. He will come with a cat tree and his food!
