When I was trapped in the feral colony, it was quickly determined that I was NOT a feral cat! I admit, I do hiss a little but as soon as I feel safe, I will be rubbing all over you and wanting attention! I can be quite vocal at times but most of the time, I am pretty quiet. I am still a little unsure of other cats so you will hear me growl and hiss but I am not trying to attack them! With a little patience and slow introduction time, I would probably like another kitty for a playmate. I would also be just fine being your one and only fur-baby. I really like being inside without all those scary things outdoors but I would like a window or patio door to view all that goes on outside. I am very curious and playful. I have been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and tested negative for both FeLV and FIV. I am hoping for a new home to explore where I can truly show you my potential for being a great companion! Jasper is a friendly, outgoing goofball who loves to "talk" and be part of whatever his people are doing. He enjoys meeting new people and is happiest when he's included in the action. While he's not much of a lap cat, Jasper loves being held—especially if you're standing! He also enjoys lounging on high shelves, exploring tunnel toys, chasing toys through the air, and even taking short walks on a leash outdoors. Jasper would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. He's great with children but would do best with older kids who understand his boundaries and won't chase him. He has lived successfully with another cat and may do well with a feline companion, though he has limited experience with dogs. Marigold is a beautiful 11 month old Calico.She has been in a single cat home since she was 10 weeks old. She has had the absolute best of care, love, food & toys. She has lived with adults and do not know how she is with kids, or other pets. I am sure she would do well around other cats to play with, once adjusted, as she is silly, curious and adventurous. Marigold is a bit shy at first, but as she gets to know you, she will be your shadow. She has been harness trained as well and enjoys going in the backyard with her harness which will be included with her adoption, as well as everything else we have for her. Marilgold lives in Beaverton with her family and her rehoming fee is $100.
