Turkish Van kittens & cats in Hillsboro, Oregon

Angel is a wise, gentle sweet sir who was born on 6/15/20. I adopted him from a cat rescue in Southern California on 11/20/20. He is a Turkish Van, super soft, 13.5 lbs, affectionate on *his* terms, loves to be brushed, loves shoulder/back massages & ear scratches and doesn't enjoy being picked up or held. Angel needs quiet & calm spaces away from loudness/chaos, is ok with dogs but prefers a house without them/small kids due to the stress they cause (he will hide for hours or up to a day) and is great with other cats; he would probably prefer a buddy to pal up with (preferably another male?). He comes with a large stainless steel litter box, a gallon ziplock of his kibble, six cans of his favorite wet food (he is fed wet food twice a day and is picky about the flavors/brand he will eat). He has a one inch mass on his abdomen near his belly button that he needs a fine needle aspiration on. The vet believes it's a benign lipoma. He also needs a deep teeth clean. 💙

Jasper is a friendly, outgoing goofball who loves to "talk" and be part of whatever his people are doing. He enjoys meeting new people and is happiest when he's included in the action. While he's not much of a lap cat, Jasper loves being held—especially if you're standing! He also enjoys lounging on high shelves, exploring tunnel toys, chasing toys through the air, and even taking short walks on a leash outdoors. Jasper would thrive in a home where he can be the center of attention. He's great with children but would do best with older kids who understand his boundaries and won't chase him. He has lived successfully with another cat and may do well with a feline companion, though he has limited experience with dogs. Jasper is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and has a sensitive stomach that is well managed with a fish-based diet, regular wet food, and a daily probiotic.  Jasper lives in Beaverton with his family and his rehoming fee is $25.   This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Petals is a very sweet cat that I inherited from my parents. She is extremely calm and well-behaved. She loves to snuggle and be pet; however, she is independent as well. She is not an outdoor cat,  She has not spent much time outside; however, she could do well with a backyard with a cat fencing, a catio or supervised outdoor visits.   Petals gets along well with other cats, it just takes her while to get used to them. She does really well with dogs, especially small dogs. Petals lives in Sherwood and her rehoming fee is $35.  She would do best being indoor only. This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
