Sushi is the kind of cat who fits in just about anywhere. He’s incredibly friendly, loves meeting new people, and approaches life with an easygoing attitude. Whether he’s sharing space with other cats or soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only, Sushi is happy as long as he’s loved. True to his social nature, Sushi is quite the conversationalist. He’ll happily chat with you about his day, remind you when it’s time for dinner, and make sure you’re never lonely. When he’s not talking, he’s usually cuddling. Sushi loves being close to his people and is always ready to curl up beside you for a nap or some quality couch time. If you’re looking for a cat with movie-star looks, a loving heart, and a personality that can brighten any room, Sushi is ready to roll right into your life.

Lola is a sweet girl. She loves to sleep in a cozy blanket and cuddle! She is very food-motivated, so she has to be fed under control. She loves to play with feathery things or any toys that scurry around. Her birthday is July 29th, and she will be 3 years old. We agreed to hold her for a friend while out of town. Unfortunately, her circumstances changed, and she could no longer afford to keep Lola. We decided to keep her despite having two other cats. We are rehoming her after a year and a half because she has not been able to integrate with the others as well as we had hoped. She does not like to share her human, food, or toys, so she will be best in a home where she is the only pet and queen. The person who adopts her will need to be patient as she adapts, making slow movements at first, and letting her smell your hand before petting. I will provide everything needed: a bed, blanket, carrier, toys, food, and litter for a month, as well as all her documents.

Meet the sweetest goofball Gus! He is a 4.5 year old Domestic Medium Hair cat with Turkish Van characteristics and coloring who loves couch cuddles and fuzzy blanket snuggles. Gus originally was rescued by East Dallas Kitty Club in October of 2021 as one of forty cats and kittens rescued from a hoarding situation. Gus is a calm kitty with a gentle temperament. He has bursts of playful energy where he will chirp and dart around with joy but mostly enjoys lounging and making biscuits in his fuzzy cat bed. He gets along great with other cats and small dogs although he takes things slowly when he’s acclimating to a new space. He has limited vision in his right eye which is enlarged due to fluid build up and high pressure but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. You can regularly find him nestled at the top of his cat tree! He lives with his older kitty sister Marlowe and two foster chiweenie siblings. While he becomes friends with everyone overtime I think he will adapt quickest to a quiet home with a patient and experienced pet owner. He is litterbox trained and easy to love but slow to come out of his shell. Gus’ owner lost their job this past summer and was forced to move in with a family who have large dogs who love to chase cats. This has been a very stressful environment for Gus and one that put’s his safety at risk. He has lived with a foster friend for the last 8 months but they are moving away from the city. We want to find Gus a loving owner who will open their home up to him and give him a safe space and all the loving he deserves!
