Turkish Van kittens & cats in Luling, Texas

My pet adopted me years ago at my old apartment. He was the "apartment cat and was told by the complex that they were surprised he finally chose someone. He visited me for a few months before making my home permanent and is now a completely indoor cat (he will go outside with me, but is too scared to go far away from the door). He has only been around humans and is not fond of other animals that come up to him. He is extremely well tempered, loves getting pets, but is mostly shy around new people. He has been having gastrointestinal issues that I cannot afford to get evaluated and treated. His medium hair requires a lot of brushing as he clumps more easily in his old age. He is extremely sensitive to fleas, but Revolution Plus seems to work on that end. My hope is that he can live out his remaining time with the least amount of suffering, and I'm afraid that I cannot provide that for him anymore.
