Story
Mumu had free roam of 3 story home in Philadelphia. Since moving to Texas she has struggled with limited free roam time and a fear of other animals. She needs a loving home without other animals. Mumu loves snuggles, playing with long wand toys and laying on top of recliners. She is very socialable with humans.

I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. My foster family is the best and can give you more information on me.Hi, I’m Ivy!I'm being fostered with our cat wellness coordinator right now. I’m a beautiful 6-month-old tortie with a very special little wobble. I have a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH)—also known as “wobbly cat syndrome.” This simply means the part of my brain that controls balance didn’t fully develop, so my head and body may shake a bit and I can be a little wobbly when I walk. The important thing to know? It isn’t painful, and I’m still a very happy, playful kitten!Because of my wobbliness, I do best in a home with lower cat trees and cozy places to play and rest where I won’t have far to fall. I get around just fine, I just do it with a little extra flair!I enjoy sitting in laps for short periods, but my favorite thing is playing with other cats or kittens. I’m used to having foster siblings and would love a playful friend in my new home (though it’s not absolutely required). My favorite toys are soft ones like mousies and kickers that I can chase and wrestle with.I’m a sweet girl, but I do startle easily, so I’d be happiest in a quieter home without young children. Loud noises—especially the vacuum (the horror!)—can be a bit scary for me.Right now I’m living it up in a foster home, so I’m not at the shelter building. If you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at adoption@hsnba.org, call us at: (830) 629-5287 or stop by and speak with the folks at HSNBA at 3353 Morningside Dr. to get your information sent over to my foster home. Story
This sweet girl was sadly left behind when our neighbors moved away, but she hasn’t lost her love for people. She’s been visiting our backyard regularly, and we’ve been feeding and caring for her. She is incredibly friendly with humans and clearly enjoys attention, affection, and companionship. She’s a gentle, loving cat who thrives on human interaction and would make a wonderful cuddle buddy. While she’s very comfortable with people, she is a bit timid around other cats, so she would do best as the only cat or in a calm, patient home. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion who just wants to be loved, she could be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Affectionate Lap Cat Looking for a Quiet "Forever" Lap. I am looking for a loving new home for my sweet adult female cat. Due to life circumstances, daughter moving to London, we are unable to care for her, and she deserves a home where she can get all the attention she craves. Her Personality: She is the ultimate affectionate companion. If you are looking for a best friend, this is her. She absolutely loves to be brushed every day—it is her favorite bonding activity. She is a true lap cat and will happily sleep on your chest if you let her. She also has a fun side and gets a little playful with her paws when she’s happy. Her Ideal Home: She is a 'people cat' through and through. Because she is very afraid of dogs and does not get along with other cats, she must be the only pet in the home. She would thrive in a calm environment where she can be the Queen of the castle and soak up all your love.

Lizzie is an affectionate cat. She is 4 years old and loves looking out of a window to watch the birds on my balcony. I can no longer afford Lizzie. She is not a big fan of dogs, she usually goes and hide while a dog is around.

Story
Found in our backyard back in 2020 on Mother’s Day weekend. Initially adopted but then returned back to us when owner moved overseas. She is great at being an only cat and lovable but very stressed since having a baby in the house. Would do great as an only cat in a household and loves to be loved
