I’m Terry! I’m a happy-go-lucky 1 yo guy with big puppy energy, a love for adventure, and an even bigger heart. Whether it’s hiking, jogging, fetch, or playing with dog friends, I’m always ready for fun. I’m a playgroup rockstar who loves all sized dogs, and I’d thrive in an active home with a playful buddy and a fenced yard to run and sunbathe in.I’m smart, eager to please, and love learning new things. I’m already house + crate-trained, know sit, down and shake, and I’m working on “place” and my leash manners. I’m also polite for grooming- baths, blow dries, and nailtrims are no big deal!Because I’m an active, higher-energy breed mix, I’d do best with someone who can continue my training, provide structure and boundaries, and keep me mentally and physically engaged. My local trainer also offers free refresh sessions to help set us up for success together.After a day of adventure, I’m all about cuddling with my people. Weebles loves other dogs!Energy Level: Very high- I am a super-active dog who needs a high-energy ownerBefore FAR/My History: I was found 5/25/2024 on the side of a road next to an orchard lying beside a laundry basket with a tarp. My humans don’t know if someone dumped me but it looks that way. I had been hit by a car some months earlier and my legs didn’t work right. I was very skinny and hungry. I had femoral head and neck ostectomy (FHO surgery) on 6/20/2024 on my back right leg to fix all the problems caused by the accident and the subsequent medical neglect. I am all healed and healthy now! Training Status/Commands I know: Sit and Touch the open hand to get a treat/food instead of leaping for the foodWorking on: Everything- I have puppy energy, but I am working on channeling it into being a good dog.Things I like: Playtime! Any interaction is playtime to me. I am always ready to run and explore! I definitely still have puppy energy, but I am an active breed. She’s fully trained, brilliant, and beautifully athletic: a runner, a toy-chaser, a fetch enthusiast, the kind of dog who comes alive in an active home where the world is wide open and the days have rhythm. Story
My pet was found on the side of the road when she was about a month old. She was full of bugs, her stomach was huge due to her having worms. My son brought her home. She is 9 months old now I have 2 cats. But I felt so sorry for her I just couldn’t bring her to a shelter. Plus she was so cute and small. Smaller than my cats. I took her to the vet. She has her shots dewormed and spaded. She is scared of a lot of things. I guess from being out on the streets. She is very smart. She lets me know when she has to go out and do her business. She knows where her food is kept and goes to it when I say do you want to eat She gets her toys when I tell her to. She knows som commands like sit, give me your paw I keep her in a create overnight because she likes to chew. I am 74 years old and I didn’t know she was going to get this big. I do love her very much but I get frustrated because she needs a lot of attention. I’m trying very hard to make her walk on a lease without pulling me.
