I’m a playgroup rockstar who likes all sized dogs, & I’d thrive in an active home with a playful buddy. In the mornings, & after a day of fun, I’m all about snuggling up for a good cuddle.I’m smart, eager to please, & love learning new things. I’m already house + crate-trained, I know sit, down, shake, come, and I’m perfecting “place”, and my leash manners. I’m also polite for grooming & vetting- baths, blow dries, nailtrims, etc are easy with me.Because I’m an active, young guy, I’d be best with someone who can keep me mentally & physically busy, & will continue my training. She has not had much adoption interest, and we think it may be because she is not the kind of dog who shows her full personality right away. Isabelle needs someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to give her the time and space to build trust. Isabelle has some stranger-danger tendencies and can be fearful of new people. She is not a dog who wants strangers to rush up, reach for her, or expect instant affection. She needs slow introductions, patience, and people who will let her become familiar at her own pace. Once Isabelle feels safe, her sweet and affectionate side begins to shine. She wants to be loved — she just needs to believe she is safe first. Isabelle does best in a calm, peaceful environment. Loud noises can make her nervous, and busy, high-energy homes may be overwhelming for her. She would be happiest with adults or calm older teens who can offer consistency, kindness, and a quiet routine. She enjoys the simple comforts: tasty treats, a soft place to rest, and a comfortable dog bed for long naps. Treats are a great way to help her build confidence and positive associations. Isabelle gets along well with calm, easygoing cats and dogs. High-energy or overly enthusiastic dogs can make her nervous, especially if they get too close too quickly.
