Story
Terry here! I'm a friendly, happy, young guy with fun, bouncy puppy energy and a big love for life. I adore people of all ages, love playing with other dogs, I'm respectful of my cat friends, and and I'm always up for an adventure. Jogging, hiking, playing fetch or tug- you name it, I'm in! I'm active and curious, but once I've had my exercise, I turn into the ultimate cuddle bug. Bonus points: I'm potty-trained, love my crate, and ready to settle right into home life! I have glowing reviews from my time in a foster home. I've also had professional training where I've perfected my great manners, and mastered sit, down, come, and more. I am well-behaved, I don't jump or beg, I'm wonderful for grooming (easy baths, blow dry, nail trims), and my trainer offers a free session once I'm adopted! Adopting me means more laughs, more adventures, and one very grateful guy by your side. I'm ready to start the best chapter of my life with someone who wants a loyal sidekick + a whole lot of love!

Story
This stunning lady is Ahsoka! She ended up at the shelter as a lost girl with ID on 5/14. Her family was contacted and decided not to reclaim her because they're having a baby and decided they couldn't care for both. Her former family did note that Ahsoka is house-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs. Poor Ahsoka is so confused and unsure about her new surroundings. The shelter is loud and overwhelming and she'd sure like to find a new and improved forever home! The volunteers describe Ahsoka as super friendly and attentive. She knows several commands including sit, lay down, and stay. If you're looking for a new BFF who should be able to settle in and adjust to life in a new home quickly, please come meet Ahsoka! Ahsoka is 3 years old and weighs 59 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed and microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. She is waiting patiently in run 849; her ID # is 9982. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
