He has done well around other dogs, enjoys human companionship, and has the playful spirit of a dog who is ready to embrace whatever comes next. August is looking for a home that can appreciate his friendly nature and give him plenty of opportunities to be part of the action. In return, he`ll provide loyalty, fun, and a whole lot of tail wags. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home.     Sparkle and her three sisters were pulled from the Animal Protection League in Anderson, IN. Ni & Grenade are in a foster home in Indianapolis, Sparkle & her sister Twinkle are here at the rescue. These young girls are energetic, loving and so in need of their very own homes. Growing up at the shelter is just NOT how their story should go. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home.     Who could possibly ignore that look?! Shimmer is possibly a Vizsula mix, d.o.b. 4/14/23. She is the sweetest girl, so soft, wants all the loving attention. Does great with other dogs, doesn't know a stranger. She attended an adoption event with us on 4/20/24 and did so great! Story
Neo (the One!) found us and made his way into our hearts about 5 years ago. We adored his calm, kind and selfless nature. We loved goofing around with him and running around in the backyard. Neo is very affectionate and loyal. He is very quiet most of the days, only barking when he gets anxious with other dogs. He loves loves loves people!! He will take to strangers in a heartbeat and loves to go for walks. He has enough energy to run faster than the fastest people and the intelligence to know who is up for it! If you are looking for an affectionate companion who would never get bored of leaving your side, Neo's the one! Unfortunately as we got busier with work and kids got busier with school, we have had less time for him and now we are relocating to a smaller apartment without a yard.
