    Who could possibly ignore that look?! Shimmer is possibly a Vizsula mix, d.o.b. 4/14/23. She is the sweetest girl, so soft, wants all the loving attention. Does great with other dogs, doesn't know a stranger. She attended an adoption event with us on 4/20/24 and did so great! We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home.     Sparkle and her three sisters were pulled from the Animal Protection League in Anderson, IN. Ni & Grenade are in a foster home in Indianapolis, Sparkle & her sister Twinkle are here at the rescue. These young girls are energetic, loving and so in need of their very own homes. Growing up at the shelter is just NOT how their story should go. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Story

    A little update about Grenade. She always reminds me of what I picture if someone is looking for a classic dog. Her dark nose and eyes are very expressive, and her hair often glints red in the sun. We believe she was born in April, so that makes her 7 - 8 months old now. She was 42lbs when I weighed her last. She is playful and loves toys! She has absolutely no patience if her sister, Ni, steals her toy or treat, which leads to lots of tug of war around the house. She has the softest fur and her favorite napping spot is right on top of anyone sitting in the living room. When she doesn't have a person to cuddle, she sleeps on her back while bent at weird angles and with her legs up in the air.  We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Story

    Ni has grown into a stunning young lady. We believe she and her sisters were born in April, so she is now 7- 8 months old. She is an overly affectionate goofball. She loves giving and receiving kisses and can jump high enough to barely see over our 5ft tall fence. She loves playing fetch and has daily tug of war sessions with her sister and foster sister. She is tall enough to get a close look at our Thanksgiving turkey on our counter height table and weighs about 50lbs. She loves tormenting her foster brother by kissing him when he pretends to be tough and growl at her, but in truth her playful attitude has won him over as long as they don't know I can see them. She loves every person and animal she's met and really deserves a forever home that loves her just as much. Here is Ni with the golden nose and eyes. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing.
