We got her to join our family but have realized that unfortunately, this puppy’s very high energy and jumping is not conducive with our young toddler, who has always loved dogs. We are looking to find the right home for this sweet and fun puppy, who deserves the best and long life with someone who can provide her with the care and exercise that is required of her breed.

This is Blakely, an 8-month-old Vizsla mix with a playful heart! She presently weighs 35-40 pounds and will mature to 45-50, each pound filled with energy ' 'and delight! Great with other dogs, she would run around all day if she could. Playful, she loves toys like crazy, choosing to keep one close at all times! A joy? Yes! Just for you and your family? Yes! (posted 11/15/25, ME) ' ' Adoption Fees for Seniors and those who have been in rescue for prolonged periods of time are reduced to $250.00 including transport-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **October 12, 2026, 3:15 pm

Meet Sable (aka Hershey because if his chocolate brown coloring!) ! This 2-year-old, 70-pound chocolate Lab mix is a big, goofy, affectionate guy who absolutely loves his people. (Check out his hilarious video!)  His foster says he could just as easily have been called Shadow or Velcro because wherever you are, Sable would like to be there too. A few things we love about Sable: He's a total people dog. Sable loves being near his person and will happily follow you from room to room. Working in the garden? He's right there. Sitting at the kitchen table? He's figured out how to put his head on your feet. Belly rubs are also very much appreciated. He's wonderful at home. Sable is housebroken, sleeps quietly through the night, is polite and attentive, and learns quickly. He knows “sit” and “down” and is working on “stay.” He's a good adventure buddy. Sable travels well in the car and is an energetic young Lab who enjoys walks, play, and plenty of exercise. He's working on his leash manners. Sable can become very excited when he sees another dog and may bark, jump, and pull. At 70 pounds, he needs a strong, confident handler who can safely manage him and is committed to continuing his training. His foster is working with a trainer, and he's making progress. Once introduced appropriately, Sable has shown friendly, playful behavior with other dogs. Sable is looking for an experienced adopter who can give him the exercise, structure, and training he needs. In return, you'll get a loyal, affectionate dog who would really prefer to be wherever you are.
