This is Blakely, an 8-month-old Vizsla mix with a playful heart! She presently weighs 35-40 pounds and will mature to 45-50, each pound filled with energy and delight! Great with other dogs, she would run around all day if she could. Playful, she loves toys like crazy, choosing to keep one close at all times! A joy? Yes! Just for you and your family? Yes! (posted 11/15/25, ME) ' ' Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Chip is a fun-loving, energetic pup with a big heart and an impressive affinity for fetch – he’s truly a natural athlete! Whether he’s chasing a ball or entertaining himself with his toys, Chip brings a playful spirit and joy to everyday life. He also loves baths! Chip may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and loyal personality shines. He forms strong bonds and loves being close to his people—whether that’s relaxing on the couch or lying at your feet while you work. He’s still a puppy, though, and can get a little mouthy or overly excited during play but redirects well when given cues and boundaries. He will thrive in a home that offers structure and encouragement where he can continue building confidence. • Secure yard: Chip loves having space to run and play freely. • Exercise: He’s an active pup who benefits from regular playtime. Flo-Retriever/Pointer X female, ~ 3-4yr. (July 2024)(Photos taken July 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Flo came to Rescue with her 5 tiny puppies, from a high kill big city shelter. She and her babies on the list to lose their lives to euthanasia that very day. This was happening only because the shelter was way overwhelmed with dogs needing homes. Flo went into a rescue foster home and has proved to be an excellent dog. She been a good mother, raised her babies and has settled in to family life. She's about 50-55#, full of intelligence and life. She plays well with the other foster dogs, is very social. She's an active young adult and will enjoy a life that is active. Best of all, she loves people and wants to interact with humans. She would be an excellent hiking or walking partner. Flo can be a little too interested in cats, so she's looking for homes that does not have cats. Flo's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption . Her owner can no longer care for her and asked the Rescue to help her find a new home. She's housetrained, and gets along well with other dogs. She's not lived with little children but does know teenagers and does well with them. She is about 55# and likes an active life. Would be a good running or walking partner. She has never lived with cats, so they are an unknown. Her adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
