Besides the fact that this darling little felllow is adorable, he's also a lot of fun to have around! He's energetic! He's playful! He is affectionate! He's is house trained, and he is kennel trained. He walks very nicely on leash. He's wonderful with children. He would make an excellent hiking partner Would be perfect for a family who spends time outdoors! He is in a foster home in Memphis Tennessee. Once an application has been submitted and approved, the foster family would be happy to speak with you and tell you all about him! Once adopted, he will travel on rescue vet transport to the north east. They travel each weekend, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning at 6 AM and traveling to the northeast delivering newly adopted pets. They travel as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. You will find that our volunteer team is very responsive so please submit your application only when you're ready to adopt your new pet! This gorgeous girl has an identical twin sister as well. The girls are 5 months old and love to snuggle. Ofcourse they do not have to be adopted together. They are very well socialized , they love to play and are kennel trained and house trained. Wonderful with children and other dogs . They are in a foster home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted, each pup will travel on Rescue Vet Transport to their new forever families. They travel each and every weekend to the north east, leaving Memphis, Tennessee, Friday morning around 6 AM and making stops along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island, meeting adopters to deliver their new adopted pets. Goose is a super goofy boy that was surrendered with his brother Ducky. Their back story isn't all that clear, but we do know two things: these two are a bonded pair and would do best in a home together, and that home cannot have any cats. With that being said these two boys would make the perfect addition to the right home. When it comes to Goose, ball is life. If you have a ball in your hand that's all the matters in his world. Goose is very strong on the leash and does tend to pull. He will need a strong owner that is willing to continue with his leash training. Goose also sometimes forgets just how big and strong he is when playing and because of this we recommend "sturdy" children aged 10 and up. Goose and Ducky both have what we call "kennel stress" meaning that in the kennel they act much differently than out, for this reason we recommend meeting them outside in the side runs to really understand their personalities. Ducky may be a little shy at first but warms up quickly. Once you start throwing a ball for him you will be best friends. Goose's ideal home would be with his brother Ducky in a home that has lots of space to run around and a family to play with. DOBBIE!!! The best way to understand this quirky little guy is to Google search Dobbie from Harry Potter. My son named him and it's THE PERFECT FIT for him and he knows his name! He's wildly entertaining, flits through the house like a hummingbird. His only bad habit is that he's a counter surfer but he's so cute when he does it that he rarely gets in trouble and he's never actually gotten anything. I think he's just curious what's up there. To live this guy you have to know his backstory . We pulled his sister from a rural shelter and she was very well socialized and got adopted within two weeks. The Director of the Shelter reached out and said you know we have his brother? I said no. In comes Dobbie and he is nothing like his sister. Human touch was like nails on a chalkboard for him, he had no idea what a leash was, and he was petrified of all humans. Fast forward four months. He is a perfect gentleman on leash, he loves attending doggy daycare, he is perfectly house trained, he doesn't love the kennel, but he will sleep in his little dog bed right next to his people. and he SEEKS OUT human affection! It has been the most beautiful and rewarding transformation, and he is little nub tail never stops wagging. He becomes very attached to his humans these days. He loves other dogs, and he loves to run and play in the yard. If you couldn't tell by now, he is my Foster and he's with me in Memphis, Tennessee. Once adopted, he will travel on rescue vet transport to his new forever family.
