Story
Meet Rosie. Rosie is a 55 lb, 9-10 year old Vizsla mix! Rosie would love to find a loving home where she can be happy and comfortable for the remainder of her life! Rosie is great with everyone. She would love a home where she is the only animal. She is fully potty trained and crate trained, though she prefers to be out of the crate with you. She would do really well with someone that is home a good portion of the day. Rosie walks great on a leash (though she is strong) and LOVES to go for walks. She adores kids, playing tug of war and knows all the basic commands! Adoption fees include vetting, vaccinations, spay/neuter. A $10 microchipping fee does apply.

These pups are in Minneapolis, Minnesota too!

Story
Sweet little Bea was running around rural Georgia with her sidekick for several weeks after apparently being dumped. Everybody in the area said they were friendly, but no one knew them so they called animal control. The girls were very bonded at first, but we feel like their first love is people. They want to love people and be loved so badly but when they didn’t have any people, they became very attached to each other. Her sidekick has now found her forever home and it’s Miss Bea’s turn now. She’s exceptionally sweet and outgoing. She loves to go for walks and rides in the car. She also loves to snuggle on the couch. Bea is 22 pounds and between four and five years old. WE ARE ONLY GUESSING AT HER BREED! She does not really have a JRT temperament but she has the size and cute little short tail. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed and heartworm tested negative. She appears to be a very healthy and happy girl. She had a couple of accidents the first day in her foster home but now she’s doing very well with house training if you would like to be Miss Bea’s hero and the center of her world, please email omlc7@hotmail.com or Dogs4mylife@gmail.com and we will send you our information and application. Story
Welcome Oaks to CCPAL Rescue foster program. Oaks is a 1.5 year old German Short haired pointer and German Shepherd. He is about 48 pounds and a good weight. He is good in a car, potty trained, doggy door trained and lives with six children starting at age 2. He also lives with 6 other dogs and does fine. He would be great with a family and children would be fine. We like them to be 8 or older. He is smart, laid back, good with other dogs and bonds deeply to his family. He is a little timid with strangers but comfortable with his people. His foster family is going to start taking him places so he can get used to changes in environment and other people. He is smart but he doesn’t like to retrieve like his sister does. He is a nice dog and naturally a little protective to his family. He would be great with a family that the dad travels and he wants to feel that his family is safe and taken care of. He is a moderate shedding dog and with his long legs would be a great walking or jogging companion. He is neutered, healthy and getting his vaccinations and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee: $550 plus taxUpdate from the foster: Bodhi is doing great and finally starting to settle in. He is definitely showing his playful side too!He and our resident Boxer have been having a blast wrestling. They can get a little rowdy, so we’ve been stepping in for 'time-outs' when they get too hyper. A few quick notes on his progress:* Potty Training: Just one accident in the basement when he was exploring. He seems to know to head to the door if he needs to go out. * Crate Life: He needs a little coaxing (and maybe a treat) to get in and whines for a minute, but then he’s out for the night!* The Chewer: He’s a 'destroyer' when it comes to toys and would eat the pieces if we didn't watch him. We’re working on redirecting that energy.* The 'Hugger': He’s a jumper, but in a sweet way—he basically tries to hug you. We’re working on 'off' with him.  The best part? He is a world-class snuggler. If there’s a blanket nearby, he’ll make a nest and curl up right next to you on the couch. He’s such a good boy.If you have previously applied with us please email placement@midwestanimalrescue.org to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history. //
