This sweet boy has been through more than any puppy should — but he’s blossomed beautifully with love and care. 🧡 Boomer came to rescue underweight, battling severe Demodex, and carrying a scar around his chest that hints at a difficult past. But today? His skin has healed, his confidence is growing, and he’s turning into a playful, joyful pup with only occasional timid moments. 💛 Here’s what makes Boomer amazing: ✨ Potty trained & crate trained ✨ Loves fetch and really loves to chew (Nylabones = yes, shoes = hide!) ✨ Knows “sit” and often offers his paw ✨ Very food- and toy-motivated ✨ Wants to please and loves praise ✨ May startle occasionally but recovers quickly ✨ If joining a home with another dog, he’ll need a patient sibling — he can be a little mouthy and bratty (classic puppy energy!) This is Blakely, an 8-month-old Vizsla mix with a playful heart! She presently weighs 35-40 pounds and will mature to 45-50, each pound filled with energy and delight! Great with other dogs, she would run around all day if she could. Playful, she loves toys like crazy, choosing to keep one close at all times! A joy? Yes! Just for you and your family? Yes! (posted 11/15/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip.   Lower Fee! Franklin, one of our Hope dogs, was found all alone on the streets, trying to rent the space under someone’s house. The homeowners said it wasn’t for rent, so Franklin had to come to the shelter to see if his owners would come for him. Unfortunately, nobody did.  A 2-year-old, 50-pound Vizsla mix, he is eager to find a home with some great roomies and never have to worry about renting under a home again.  Seriously, Franklin is the best boy! He’s such a sweetheart and always wants to be around people.
