Story
Vanessa is a real family dog! She is gentle with my senior cat. She is cautious of my crazy cat. She is sweet to my one year old not gentle boy. In fact she’s been good with kids of all ages at family parties. She rough houses with our dogs. Her food aggression is completely gone. She loves to walk and has decent leash manners. This girl loves treats and sunbathing. She is a total Velcro dog and loves to snuggle. She loves to talk. She will just run into the yard and bark at the sky, the bugs, the grass . She’s truly a hound and loves to sniff things out. She responds well to her allergy meds and ear wash. She will make a perfect family dog. If you can give that chance to her email jonesm4318@gmail.com today!

Ok! And here is a bio for her if you still need one: My Bologna has a first name, it's C-U-T-I-E!! This pup is the whole package. Adorable? ✔️ Sweet? ✔️ Smart? ✔️ Bologna is ready for a family to call her own! Her fosters also affectionately called her "Betty Boop" because she loves nose boops and kisses. She loves other dogs, adults, children ... anyone who wants to play can be her friend! Bologna is a fast learner and housebroken. She will let you know when she wants attention or is ready to go outside. If you're looking for a dog who is playful and adventurous, this is the one for you!

Story
**I am located in Georgia, but I can be transported north to you!** Name: Weebles Breed: Vizsla Mix Sex/Age/Weight: Male/estimated DOB 10/2023 /65 lbs Vetting: Up-to-date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and on preventatives House trained/Crate Trained: In progress/Yes. Dogs/Cats/Children: Has not been tested with cats or children, but can be tested upon request. Weebles loves other dogs! Energy Level: Very high- I am a super-active dog who needs a high-energy owner Before FAR/My History: I was found 5/25/2024 on the side of a road next to an orchard lying beside a laundry basket with a tarp. My humans don’t know if someone dumped me but it looks that way. I had been hit by a car some months earlier and my legs didn’t work right. I was very skinny and hungry. I had femoral head and neck ostectomy (FHO surgery) on 6/20/2024 on my back right leg to fix all the problems caused by the accident and the subsequent medical neglect. I am all healed and healthy now! Training Status/Commands I know: Sit and Touch the open hand to get a treat/food instead of leaping for the food Working on: Everything- I have puppy energy, but I am working on channeling it into being a good dog. Things I like: Playtime! Any interaction is playtime to me. I am always ready to run and explore! I definitely still have puppy energy, but I am an active breed. I love chew toys and treats and if I can sit still long enough, I love belly scratches. Things I don’t like: I don’t like to be left out. If you are doing something, I want to be right there doing it with you. I need constant interaction and stimulation so that I don’t get bored. Things that make my humans happy: My happiness even though I’ve been through so much. I go to my doctor appointments with the same attitude that I go to get a pup cup, just happy to see everyone and everything. My name is Weebles because I wobble but I don’t fall down, physically or figuratively. I am always a happy pup. If you are interested in giving Weebles a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Hello, I’m Scout! A 1.5 year old, 36 pound Duck Toller/Viszla mix. I was part of a cruelty and abandonment case with a bunch of my friends but already looking so much better! I’m very food motivated. I enjoy all types of soft food, hard food, treats, fruit, and most importantly, bananas! If you share one, I’ll be your best friend. Don’t let my history fool you. Despite having a difficult start to life, I know how to be happy and enjoy myself. I’m excited for this new beginning and I love meeting new people. I am learning I can finally be my true friendly self. I’m super playful so if you would like to play fetch or run around the backyard with a few toys, I’m your guy. But I have to say I do also really enjoy just relaxing with you, especially if you’re willing to provide a belly rub. It’s funny because I haven’t walked much on a leash my whole life, but my new friends here are telling me that I learn so fast because I don’t pull them along at all. I just follow wherever they want me to go is fine. Exploring is fun if I’m with you; I'm avery loyal guy! I’ve already learned some basic commands like sit and paw. Check the proof below if you don’t believe me! I’m so excited to continue to learn and grow and enjoy every single day. I truly believe every day is a gift!Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog.We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org)Thanks so much.
