Mellow is a delight. He's sweet, gentle and just a good boy. Found as a skinny stray by a young woman, she then cared for him for 2 months until her landlord said "remember, not pets?" In steps Mom who gets him vet care (neutered, heart worm tested, shots, worm check) and now he is ready to go. Mellow is great on a leash, loves to go for walks, housetrained, crate trained, good with dogs, a little afraid of cats, loves the car, will chase the ball and bring it back. Yes, he's as wonderful as he sounds. Mellow is approximately 2 years old, 43 pounds and a beautiful dark grey coat.

My brother passed away unexpectedly and Sherlock and Stella meant the world to him. They spent 3 weeks in an animal shelter and then had a long drive from California to their new home state of NY. Stella is more outgoing and playful, while Sherlock is calmer and very affectionate. They balance each other beautifully and take comfort in being together. At just seven months old, 28 lbs, she’s discovering the world and all the wonderful things it has to offer. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, Janet’s affectionate and playful personality truly comes to life. Based on her appearance, Janet looks like a mix of Vizsla and Whippet, which gives her a wonderful combination of elegance, intelligence, and athleticism. She enjoys spending time with her caregivers, soaking up affection, and engaging in playful moments with her furry friends. Thanks to the care she has received through our rescue partner, Janet has been growing and learning in a safe and supportive environment. This has helped her develop into a kind, gentle, and well-behaved young dog who is ready to continue thriving with a loving family. Janet gets along very well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a friendly canine companion in her new home. A confident dog sibling could help her feel even more secure while providing a great playmate. She is also gentle with children and shows respectful curiosity around cats. She could also be happy as the only dog in a home with adopters who are committed to helping her build confidence through socialization and puppy classes. Janet is crate trained and currently working on her potty training. With a consistent routine, positive reinforcement, and a little patience, she will continue learning every day.
