Amy had a rough start in life—she was born on November 30, 2024, on the streets of San Antonio, alongside her eight siblings. Her feral mother had been surviving on her own for quite some time, raising multiple litters on the streets. Thankfully, with the help of Amy and her siblings, we were able to gain her mother’s trust and bring them all to safety. Now, Amy is thriving! She is a playful, sweet, and loving puppy who adores people. She may be a little shy at first, but give her a few minutes, and she’ll be bouncing around, ready to play! As of February 26, 2025, she weighs 11.6 pounds, but she’s expected to grow to around 45 pounds. Amy is ready to find her forever home! Her adoption fee is $300, and she is available through A Doggie 4 You. If you're interested in adopting this special girl, apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. She may take time to warm up to new people, but once she trusts you, she will love you forever. At 10 years old, Stella is proof that age is just a number. This gorgeous German Shorthair Pointer still has pep in her step, joy in her heart, and enough enthusiasm to power a small village. She’s the perfect medium-sized best friend — big enough for adventures, small enough to fit nicely on your couch (or directly on top of you). Stella’s life motto is simple: “Wherever you go, I go.” Need a walking buddy? She’s ready. Going for a car ride? Shotgun is her seat. Just trying to sit on the couch? Perfect — she’ll be there in 0.3 seconds. She is what we lovingly call a Grade-A Velcro Dog. If loyalty were an Olympic sport, Stella would have a gold medal, a parade, and her face on a cereal box. Her adorable highlights: • House trained (no indoor oopsies!) • Crate trained like a champ • Walks nicely on a leash • Wonderful with other dogs • Loves every human she’s ever met • Expert-level cuddler • Olympic gold medalist in burrowing under blankets Speaking of blankets… Stella takes her snuggle game VERY seriously. Being a classic GSP, Stella does have a natural prey drive, so she’s not a match for homes with cats. She can also have a touch of anxiety, which really just means she thrives with someone who’s home often and enjoys having a devoted shadow. (Good luck going to the bathroom alone ever again.) Stella was surrendered through no fault of her own when her previous family didn’t have the time she deserves. Now she’s ready for a fresh start — with people who will love her, include her, and appreciate just how special she is. Story
Meet Trenton! This good boy is the whole package! He is a mixed breed, best guess English pointer/boxer mix, and no one breed is evident. He is 2-year-old medium sized (55 pound) love bug who is gentle and adores kids. He is house trained. It does not appear he has been taught basic commands, but he should be a quick learner as he learned the doggy door ropes in a single day. The crate is not his favorite. He will go in when bribed with delicious treats and sleep quietly through the night. He mimics the vibe of the house by playing when we are active and snuggling on couch when we are quiet. He also gets along with other dogs, playing or backing off at the appropriate times. As he has settled into his foster home, he has started wrestling with the alpha dog of the house. Trenton deserves someone who will shower him with attention, car rides and rounds of fetch. He is everyone’s best friend, can he be yours? Trenton is neutered and up to date on all vaccines, flea and heartworm medication.
