MEET  TASHA !!! Tasha's foster mom says she is the most loving and gentle dog!   Tasha is timid and cautious initially. Tasha loves children and to cuddle, but older children would probably be best as sudden movements can frighten her. The child in her current foster home is 8 years old, and she does fine, but will do best in a home with older kids. Tasha takes a bit longer to adjust to men than to women, but has warmed up to her foster dad quite well so with patience she can do just fine with a man in the home. Tasha would be best as an only pet as she has not tolerated cats and dogs comfortably. Goose is a young, energetic boy who LOVES attention and is super affectionate. He is also afraid of kids and strangers. Goose is super smart and learns new things quickly!  Goose is already housebroken AND doggy door trained! He'll do best in a home with a doggy door.  He is very active and likes to swim and play fetch, so Goose will do best in an ACTIVE home. He would do GREAT with someone who's a runner, hiker, or jogger. He still has a lot of the weimie rambunctious traits, so he will need an adopter willing to continue his general obedience traing. If you are looking for an active partner, Goose is for you! He has done well with other small dogs, but he doesn't get along with other dogs that are bigger.  So no dogs or only small dogs in the home. Goose does tend to be a bit shy and timid, so he'd do best in a home with older kids (8+). Since he is so shy, he does take time to warm up to strangers. Saylor is a very handsome 2-month-old Weimaraner/Labrador Retriever mix. If you are looking for a playful and loyal companion, he is the perfect boy for you! He is very smart and curious about the world around him. He would be the perfect companion for someone who is able to give him the time and attention he needs as he continues to grow. We think he will be a large dog when fully grown. While he’s an indoor dog, he also needs a home with a safely fenced yard to run and play in with his family. He is not suited for apartment/condo/mobile home/town home living. If there are children in the home, it’s preferable that they’re over the age of 7 years as they have impulse control. Saylor is neutered, current on his puppy vaccines, dewormed, vet checked and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $400 which helps cover just some of these expenses. Macon is a stunningly handsome boy. He has been raised his whole life ( 4 months) by a lady who adores him, along with his brother Houston. But she doesn't have a fenced yard and she wants what's best for them so she has asked us to help find them both wonderful forever homes. We are teaching them to leash walk. They are learning manners such as " down" and responding very well. The brothers are a bit overweight but regular exercise will correct that. They love to explore the yard but are most definitely low energy boys. They love other dogs and would likely do best being separated . Quick to take correction. They are kennel trained and neutered . UTD on vaccinations. They absolutely crave human affection. Macon has the most dreamy grey eyes. The brothers are with me as my fosters in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once we have an approved application I am more than happy to speak with any potential adopter about either pup. I can provide answers to your questions, send videos, photos, etc. the transport company we use , Rescue Vet Transport, travels to the northeast each and every weekend delivering our newly adopted pets, making transport stops along the way. Once they leave Memphis, Tn kn Friday morning around 6 am they will start a group chat with the two drivers and all pets on board. Hi, my name is Tiny and I am a 7-8 month old Weimaraner mix puppy.  As you can see by my photos I am  awesome looking. I am a fun puppy who likes other dogs,  and playtime.  I get along great with adults and older kids,  but small  kids are not a good fit for me.  I am a bit shy when I first meet folks. I  warm up quickly. I just need a bit of time to get to know you.     I am housetrained and working on puppy training.   I’m just a puppy, though, so I will require continued training. My foster mom takes me to doggie day care to get socialized , make new doggy friends of all sizes and to get some of my energy out.    My dream home would be with an active family who has time to train me to be the best family dog. If your plan is to put me in a crate while you  go to work, please don’t apply for me. I would not do well being created all day. My must have in my forever home is a securely fenced yard and another dog to play with. I am not a good fit for an apartment or condo.   Tiny is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee of $350 helps offset the rescue's medical expenses. MEET  BIRCH!!! Birch is the SWEETEST, most easy going 2 year-old Pointer/Lab mix! He is timid and shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he shows his sweet and wiggly side. He'll need a bit of patience and a few days (about 5) in a new home before he will start exploring and feeling comfortable. Birch seems to warm up to women a bit faster then men. Birch is a great leash walker! He would love to have daily walks or hikes! He makes an amazing hiking partner.  Birch is housebroken, kennel trained AND doggy door trained!  He is very smart and learns new things quickly. He already knows SIT and STAY. He is food motivated so he's easy to teach new tricks. Birch enjoys his toys, but is not possessive at all. He enjoys a good nylabone or a stuffie to toss around. Birch is great with kids (his foster home has a 7 yr old) and he is GREAT with other dogs. Smaller kids who run and yell a good deal would be scary, so older (over 5) would probably be best. Birch does need to be adopted into a home with another pup, so that he has a buddy to keep him company... preferably one who has happy-go-lucky playful energy to encourage him to show his playful nature. He also does well with Chickens and Cats! Birch is a great lounge dog, and does enjoy being comfy on the couch.
