Story
Hazel is an amazing dog and has a fantastic personality. She is SO smart. She is submissive and wouldnt even hurt a fly. She is a hunting type of dog, so she loves to stay active. She is gentle and doesn't bark unless someone is at the door. She is healthy and her favorite treats are carrots. She plays well with other dogs, but also likes her alone time. She will cuddle and play and also lay in her bed and be peaceful. She is well trained and her only fault would be boredom and she can be startled easily. She needs to have walks and be played with. You will LOVE her. She listens well and will fill your heart with Joy. She has been a blessing to our family. My son rescued her as a puppy so we don't know what her parents were like. Sadly, We think she can get started possibly due to her life as a new puppy. She has been in our family since and are so grateful for all the love she has given us. You couldn't find a better dog than Hazel. Her records are with Bandfield Pet Hospital.

Story
Lumber is a happy boy who would love to lumber away from the shelter and into a home! Actually, we’re pretty sure he’d happily skip away from PACC and never look back if given the chance!! Here’s what his volunteer friends have said about him:“Lumber is a sweet boy who sure could use a soft place to land away from the shelter! He was easy to leash, and we got going on our walk. We made our way over to a grassy area to sit and snuggle. He appreciated scratches and gentle touch on his head, chin, chest and back.”“Lumber is a darling, friendly guy who leashes easily and is so happy to go out on a walk. He’s so smiley! Very friendly and agreeable, comfortable with handling, and loves to sniff. A very enjoyable companion!”“Lumber is a great walker! He really loves to thoroughly sniff his environment at a leisurely pace. In between he will sit for treats and take them very gently, making good eye contact. A nice, mellow, well behaved easy-going sweet boy.”Lumber spent a short time in a foster home where he loved to sleep close to his foster people and loved stuffed animals and bones. They described him as friendly, cuddly, silly, and playful. He was working on crate training and would benefit from more exposure to the crate in his future home. Lumber has a history valley fever (currently negative but would need to be watched life long), he also has a previous leg fracuture that causes a limp. He would love to find a foster or adoptive home where he can get the care he needs. In another foster home where he spent two weeks Lumber loved to be near his people and was quiet and well- behaved overall. He loved sunbathing in the yard, was housebroken, and loved chewing on bones. He enjoyed going on walks and was described as loving, warm, cuddly, and energetic:“Lumber is such a great boy and he deserves a loving home.”Lumber shares his kennel with another PACC pup and was social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. He’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Lumber today!
