Story
Say Howdy to Daryl and Jessie! Their owner had to surrender them after an unexpected medical condition left him unable to care for them.  This bonded pair are only a year apart, and have been raised together since puppyhood so we really want to keep them together! He’s a little bit country and she’s a little bit rock-n-roll, but they go together like peas and carrots!  Daryl is a laid-back, handsome brindle with a sweet, calm demeanor, and gives the best dog hugs ever! The true hound that he is, he loves long walks with his nose to the ground or in the air to make sure those pesky squirrels stay up in the trees.  But don’t let him fool you, he has a funny, mischievous side as well.  If his nose can reach it, his mouth can eat it, but only when you’re not looking.   While Daryl is happy moseying along, Jessie’s ready to put the pedal to the metal.   She puts the “sass” in sassafras!   When this girl gets excited, clear the floor, ‘cause she likes to dance like no one’s watching!  This little fashionista somehow matched her eyes to her coat, she’s a real beauty!  But there’s nothing she loves more than snuggling up with you on the couch.  That is, once you move her over an inch and squeeze in beside her.  She’s not giving up her spot easily! They may be polar opposites, but they agree that they are looking for somebody with a lot of love to give…and treats(bones)…and cuddles…and belly/butt rubs and, oh yeah, a big yard would be great because, well, they’re not the best on leash, but they’re getting better!   April 26, 2024, 4:46 pm

He is still adjusting to Loud motor cycles, and taking his bone away. Alfred is good at sleeping, sitting, he is great with people. Things that could use some work: Potty training, wining in crate, Would pee on pee pad most times / barked when he needed to go out. Great with all humans but he sometimes got scared of/ didnt like men" From Alfred's previous foster: 'Alfred is such a cool dog, he's super smart and already knows how to sit! Most of the time he's really chill and just sleeps but sometimes he's super fun and playful. He loves people and is super affectionate!' Story
Meet Clover! This poor boy has only known homelessness in his short year of life. He has bounced around from place to place and has never had or known what it's like to have a home of his own. He is a sweet guy with a gentle soul and he enjoys the company of other dogs. He'd do best in a home with other dogs to keep him company as he enjoys bouncing around and playing with other dogs. He may act shy in the beginning but he's really an undercover lover and he bonds closely with humans that give him affection. Clover has done great with big and small dogs and he enjoys when other dogs play with him. If you're looking for a new good luck charm, Clover is your guy! From his current foster: " Clover is submissive, a bit timid and shy at first. Warms up / gains confidence with other animals / gentle hooomans. House trained, kennel trained. Is starting to chew up small things at night but that's because he's finally feeling comfortable and acting like a puppy boy. He is easily redirected with toys. He is a little flighty when it comes to going out doors/ jumping in cars / kennels. Overall an amazing dog that would make the best family member. 16 DOG PLAYGROUP + SMALL DOGS! - https://youtu.be/mIw1BbeVyhk 15 DOG PLAYGROUP + SMALL DOGS! - https://youtube.com/shorts/VXNyUNJ2mSY Playing with another dog - https://youtube.com/shorts/gJIeql81t7g?feature=share Playgroup with small & big dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/CHDR6l7wxBA?feature=share Playgroup - https://youtu.be/6w2dqbGK59s Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/koLzUAubGjk?feature=share Playing with other dogs! - https://youtu.be/qa_Pz9hIVDo ADOPTION FEE: $425 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays.
