Story
Meet Nutmeg! From Current Foster Parent: "Nutmeg has such a spunky personality. He is the most perfect puppy. He loves other dogs and cats and is working on not overstepping his boundaries with other dogs, but is socializing extremely well. He shows his best work when he's asked to sit and he's awesome both on and off a leash. He knows his name well and is pretty responsive! He is a still working on the potty training, but he understands that he likes to keep his cozy spots clean and has not had one accident in his crate or in my bed! His head tilts, his floppy/clumsy run, and his giant ears are just about the cutest things about him. He loves snuggles, his bone, hikes, and car rides and he sleeps all the way through the night! You will get so lucky with this dog, he's really special and it will be exciting to see how he grows into his paws and personality! From a past foster parent: "This little land shark is 95% spunk with a little sweet thrown in. He already knows 'sit' very well & is good on leash! We're working on his potty training, but he's so food-motivated and eager to please that he'll have it down in no time. He's surprisingly calm for a puppy but incredibly dog & people-friendly! He's curious about everything & loves to explore, especially if it leads to a pile of snow he can munch on! Nutmeg would make a great puppy for anyone with a quiet or active lifestyle!" From a past foster parent: "Nutmeg is so much fun. He loves to play, play, play! He is learning how to play with big and small pups and doing very well. Nutmeg is still working on potty training and basic commands. He is a smart dog and with the right training and activity, he is going to be the best dog! Nutmeg enjoys spending time in his crate and he sleeps great throughout the night. Don't miss out on this cutie!" ADOPTION FEE: $500 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Meet the Batman litter! These gorgeous little babies are ready to find their forever homes! From Batman's Foster: " Batman!! If you're looking for a napping partner, study buddy, and/or a best friend Batman is your guy!! He is the sweetest, sleepiest pup to walk the planet! Batman loves, loves, loves to take naps and lounge around, which makes for the perfect companion if you need to get things done around the house. Batman loves ice cubes like no other and will beg for another one over and over lol!! He is a little shy/timid around new people so it helps if they get on his level. if you give him a dedicated safe space he really shows his personality! going outside is not his favorite thing and things like bicycles and loud sounds really scare him, so I've been working on desensitizing him with short walks and treats. He holds his bladder very well and is almost fully potty trained, but has the occasional accident. He has started to whine when he needs to go potty. Batman is very food motivated and clever so you can get him to do about anything for a treat! He plays well with other dogs and is the most perfect gentlemen around my roommates cats. He has stolen my heart in the short time i've had him so I know he will make the best addition to any household! Rocky is a nervous but sweet boy! He arrived at our rescue partner as an owner surrender when his family could no longer afford to care for him. Story
Monti- 3 years old born February 26th 2021 I’ve had her since may 2021. Monti is 3/4 catahoula leopard and 1/4 pit. She is spayed, microchipped, has updated rabies leptospirosis, and DA2PP shots. Monti has a lot of energy and needs a home where she can have lots of room to run and play. She doesn’t show aggression to other dogs or people. She does jump our 3ft fence but doesn’t jump the 6ft side fences. So she needs a big yard with a good fence. She loves to go on walks and run around to get her energy out.

Story
Bubba is guessed to be a 3 yr old Catahoula/Boxer mix that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy dogs. He is such a handsome boy, but for now he is still a bit nervous around new people. He loves his crate. It is his safe place. His Foster mom is working with him on becoming more trusting, teaching him potty training and socializing. Her goal is to start leash training him soon. He will need someone to introduce him to the world slowly and give him time to adjust to his new life. There are lots of other dogs at his foster mom's house so we know he is dog friendly, his foster doesn't have any cats but thinks he would be fine with them if introduced properly. She thinks he will need a home with a confident dog or in a quiet home with adults or older quiet kids only. He will need an adopter who will give him love and patience. Please consider this handsome boy as a part of your new family. He will bring your family so much joy and a lifetime of love. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs and LOVE LOVE LOVE their humans. He has so much love to give and is looking for his FurEver Home. His foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find the right adopter who is willing to help him continue with his training and help him gain confidence either with in person, or virtual training session(s). She will provide a discount on training. The amount of training needed will depend on the knowledge and experience of the adopter and how far along he is at the time of adoption.

🎶 Oh Mandy, baby, can’t you see? 🎶. Our girl Mandy has a little something for everyone! From spots to stripes, Mandy brings all the fun to wherever she is. She LOVES other canine friends and would really enjoy one in her forever home. She’s approx 1.5 years old and boasts house training and reluctant crate training (she tolerates the crate but doesn’t love it) on her resume. Mandy is looking for an active family with a fenced in yard. She’s been fine with kiddos, however she is sometimes unaware of her size, so dog savvy kiddos are a plus! While her breed is a mystery, we think a Catahoula is likely predominantly in there, but who can be sure? Mandy is in foster in Greeley, Colorado *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/mandy You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Fiona! She is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and she is almost ready to show off her new skills! Her new abilities include 'sit', 'roll over', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Fiona is still a young pup learning the way of the world. She's slowly learning it's ok to trust people, but new experiences and environments are still a little frightening to her. Once she knows you though, you'll have a friend for life. She's kind hearted and likes to play, but also is ok lying around and relaxing inside with you. Fiona plays really well with other dogs, once she warms up to them. Taking a walk around the block with the other dog will be the best way for her to relax and get to know them. She'll start to play once she feels comfortable. She does well in his crate, and seems completely house broken. Before she went to PACK, Fiona lived with cats. She may want them to be a playmate, but is nice to them. This smiling young girl will graduate towards the end of April. Will you be her new family? Apply to meet her today!

Hi! I'm CJ, and I'm a 50 pound cattle dog mix, about 5 years old. I like everyone I meet, canine or human. No one is a stranger to me! My favorite things:-Making canine and human friends-Belly rubs, naps, and cuddling-Food!-Walks with stops to smell things. What I'm looking for in a home:-Another dog friend! (preferred but not required)-Either a yard, or someone that enjoys spending time outside and lets me sniff around-People who are home a lot and wont leave me alone too much! I'm the bestest boy and am ready to settle into the next part of my life! I do well in a kennel if my dog friend is next to me, I walk nicely on leash, know a few tricks, and do the best full body wiggle when I see you!  Do I sound like the buddy for you?! If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $250 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. I have genetically bad hips and the rescue is in the process of fixing them for me. I had the first one fixed and am recovering from that currently but doing better every day! (I can still walk 2-3 miles a day, It really isnt slowing me down too much) ##1538559##
