With her loving personality and calm nature, she’s the kind of dog who quickly becomes part of the family.Training: Sky is house-trained (or currently working on it), does well in a kennel, and is doing great (or okay) on a leash. She’s eager to please and continues to make progress as she learns new routines.Personality: Sky absolutely loves attention and thrives on being around her people. Whether it’s quiet cuddle time or simply hanging out nearby, she’s happiest when she’s with you. Her gentle temperament makes her a comforting and easy companion.Other Animals: She has done well with other dogs (or hasn’t been around them much yet) and hasn’t shown any issues. Her compatibility with cats is still unknown.Kids: Sky interacts wonderfully with kids and has been very calm and patient around them, making her a lovely potential addition to a family home.If you’re looking for a loving, gentle dog who will shower you with affection and fit right into family life, Sky may be the perfect match for you.Sky is currently in foster care outside of the shelter. Story
Chleo is a sweet 4 year old catahoula/heeler mix whose owner (neighbor) passed away last summer. She has been staying on my property and eating/sleeping with my dogs since while we tried to find a family member or friend to take her. She has spent all her life on a farm or at a horse riding camp and loves the outdoors and gets along great with other dogs, tries to play with the cats but they refuse. Great with kids, though a bit lanky and clumsy so sometimes knocks over our 1 year old but never gets rough with them, 4 year old and 1 year old climb all over her. She hasn’t spent time inside other than during storms or bad weather since her owner passed, but she spent a lot of time as a couch potato indoors prior and was solidly house trained.
