Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Hi, I'm McRib — also known as Bones — and I'm a striking 2-year-old silver Weimaraner-Blue Lacy mix with adventure in my DNA! I'm neutered, crate trained, and bursting with energy, so I need a home with plenty of space and an active family ready to exercise me several times a day. I'm great with kids (older kids are best for my spirited play style) and fantastic with other dogs, and my loyalty and affection mean I'll be your devoted companion through thick and thin. I'm smart, playful, and genuinely happy to be alive. A yard and active family will be great. Apartment living may not be for me unless you have the time and energy to keep up and keep me busy. Appelonia "Apple" is a VERY sweet girl who came from a hoarding situation so really seems to like to be around other dogs. We have learned that she does great with dogs in a large space like a yard, but because of her hoarding background, she does not do good with dogs in a small enclosed space so should be the only dog in a home. Her fosters have shared that she truly is the perfect dog-and we can attest to that! She is great on walks, great with the furniture, her foster is working with her to slowly build her trust with a crate, and she is potty trained. And most important, she truly is so so sweet! She can still be a bit anxious and skittish with loud noises but is getting better and has been working with a dog counselor to help overcome that anxiety. She would do great in a home with a confident person who makes her feel safe and encourages her growth to overcome her fears. She would also do great with a walking dog buddy to help her overcome that as well so playdates or was together would be good for her.  She has been having leaking very sporadically every 3-4 weeks so we are trialing her on Incurin and have had her seen by a specialist and that was the recommend so we are currently learning more about that but Apple truly is the best girl and such a love!September 21, 2026, 12:37 pm
