Story
Hi there, I'm Choco! 🐕 I'm a 3-year-old brown mixed breed, weighing about 53 pounds of loyal companionship. I'm neutered and ready to go, but here's the thing — I do best with another dog by my side, so I'm looking for a home where I can have a furry friend to bond with. I'm a bit shy when we first meet, but once I warm up, my loyalty knows no bounds. 💕 I'd love a home with kids 12 and older, and I do require a meet and greet with the other dogs in your home to make sure we're the perfect match. Come say hello! 🤎

Story
Doc McGee is the name.... and FUN is the game!! I am a mixture of some hunting dogs…I like to raise up my paw when I see something in the backyard and I have some herding qualities. i like to try to corral my mom’s personal dogs around the yard. I am the sweetest boy at nighttime and I love to snuggle with my foster mommy in her bed at night…I love to be skin-on-skin! I do not like my kennel to sleep in. I bark if I cannot be laying with you. I am athletic and energetic and love to wrestle with my doggy siblings at my foster mom’s house. I really want a fun furry friend to play with at my new home. I also like to play with the 2 legged humans that like to talk “baby talk” to me. I am still working on potty training. I always pee-pee like a big boy out in the grass, but I sometimes have some accidents inside. I need to go outside right away in the morning when I wake up and I need to go outside within 2 minutes of eating to continue having success. I am a fun boy and I like to play with any and all squeaky toys, and I like to chew on anything that my toofers fit on….firewood, balls, toys, blankies, old shoes etc. I am very good at fetching when my human throws toys. Do I sound like a good fit for you? I cannot wait to go to my furever home!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Cowboy – A Little Blonde Adventurer with a Big Heart!   Cowboy is exactly what his name suggests—a spirited little cowboy with a heart full of adventure and enough personality to keep you smiling every single day! Born on April 14, this handsome, Catahoula mix, blonde puppy is growing into an affectionate, confident, fun-loving companion who is always ready to explore whatever comes next.   His beautiful mom is a sweet, gentle Catahoula mix called Katya, with the most wonderful temperament. Cowboy has clearly inherited her loving nature. She has raised an exceptional litter, and every one of her puppies has been friendly, happy, and eager to make new friends.   At about 11 pounds, Cowboy is thriving on three good meals a day and growing like a weed! We expect him to mature into a gorgeous 45–50-pound adult with an athletic build and plenty of energy for hiking trails, backyard games, family adventures, or simply being your faithful sidekick wherever life takes you.   Cowboy is everything you hope for in a puppy. He is curious about the world, fearless without being reckless, and always ready to investigate something new. He loves to romp and play, chase toys, wrestle with his puppy friends, and then proudly come back to check in with his people. His confidence is one of our favorite things about him—he approaches new experiences with enthusiasm and a wagging tail.   He has been lovingly raised around young children and other dogs, giving him an excellent start socially. We also expect him to do well with cats, especially with proper introductions. Cowboy enjoys being held and loved on throughout the day, but when evening comes and the excitement winds down, this busy little guy transforms into an expert snuggle bug who is happiest curled up beside the people he loves.   Cowboy is currently receiving all of his puppy vaccinations and is healthy, happy, and ready to find a family that will continue helping him grow into the amazing dog we know he'll become. He would thrive in a home that enjoys an active lifestyle, where he can get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of love and cuddles.   If you've been searching for a puppy who is equal parts playful adventurer and devoted cuddle buddy, Cowboy may just be the perfect addition to your family. He's ready to spend a lifetime making memories, sharing adventures, and loving his people with his whole heart.   To learn more about Cowboy or to apply to adopt him, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com.   Your new best friend might just be waiting for you.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Katya! She recently gave birth to eight puppies. At just 18 months old and about 50 pounds, Katya is still very much a puppy herself. After doing an amazing job raising her babies, she’s ready to enjoy life, have fun, and be spoiled in a loving forever home. Katya loves to play! She happily chases balls, grabs toys and zooms around the yard, and spends hours playing with her terrier foster sister. She also enjoys exploring and investigating everything around her. Like many young dogs, she may occasionally stroll by with a slipper in her mouth, just to remind you she’s still a puppy at heart. She is also incredibly affectionate. Katya loves curling up next to her people on the couch for pets and snuggles, or simply lying nearby wherever her family is gathered. She wants to be part of the action and close to the people she loves. She isn’t a big barker. If someone approaches the house, she’ll let you know, but otherwise she’s generally quiet and easygoing. At night, she sleeps peacefully in her crate and goes in willingly without fuss. She has learned to use the doggie door at her foster home and has been accident-free since figuring out the routine.Katya gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playing with her foster sister. She has also spent time around young children and genuinely enjoys being around people. Because of some possible hardships earlier in life, she may take a little extra time to warm up to men. However, once trust is established, she is affectionate and loving. She now happily seeks out her foster dad for scratches and pets. One of her sweetest qualities is how attentively she listens when you talk to her. She gazes into your eyes as if she understands every word. And she definitely knows how cute she is when she gently places a paw on your arm or in your lap—something she does often and always melts hearts.Katya is a gentle, loving, joyful girl who deserves a happy ending after spending so much of her young life caring for others. Now it’s her turn to be cared for, loved, and cherished. If you would like to give Katya the Cinderella story she deserves, please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
Meet Phoenix   A black Lab/Catahoula mix boy puppy who is rising above his beginnings and flying with the power of an Eagle.   Three things to know about this handsome boy: he was born April 14th, his gorgeous, sweet mama is a Catahoula Leopard Dog, and he's named for the white flash on his chest shaped like a rising Phoenix that is the symbol of resilience and power to rise from the ashes!!!!! The name fits in more ways than one. When Phoenix first arrived in foster care, he cried anytime his person left his sight. Two weeks of love, patience, and consistency later, he's stretched out belly-up in his crate, completely relaxed. That little belly-up nap says so much — it means he's beginning to believe he's safe.  This smart boy is learning fast! Phoenix is crate trained and puts himself in his crate on his own because his wonderful foster moms have taught him with the expert skills of a top notch trainer.  Every puppy they foster goes through their loving program and nurturing and come out as ROCK STARS!  Phoenix  sleeps through the night without accidents and is making great progress on house training — he knows inside, outside, and 'go potty' in the yard. He knows 'sit' and plays wonderfully with other dogs (he hasn't been around cats ye but could be just fine since he is a 'lover' of all things in lifet). Phoenix is all puppy, all the time — full of joyful energy until playtime is done, then he crashes happily in his crate. This sweet black Lab/ Catahoula mix has so much love to give, and he's looking for the family that will help him keep blossoming. Available for adoption through Critter Cavalry Rescue (CCR) in Nashville, TN. Please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We also transport from Nashville to the  northeastern coast of states.  He is ready for a new forever everything on 6/10!!!!!  ❤️         ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
