Hershey had quite a journey getting to rescue so she could find her forever home. She is a very engaged and loving girl and really enjoys her human company. Hershey lives with dogs of all sizes and ages and is good with most everyone, even the little evil one that loves to torment others.She has good house manners, can be in a crate, but isn’t a huge fan. She loves to go for rides, is great on a leash, and enjoys meeting new people, so would be a good go everywhere girl. She is not good with cats, just too curious for that species.Hershey is fully vetted - current with vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Hi! I’m Austin, the shelter’s resident comedian. How did I end up here? Well, I once chased a squirrel at the park and, in my excitement, I accidentally followed it onto a city bus! By the time I realized my mistake, I was miles away and had to be brought here. I’m brave, super friendly, and if you throw a ball, I’ll be your best friend forever. I love adventures and am looking for someone who loves big laughs and even bigger fun. Austin has shown to be good with dogs of all sizes and play types, good with kids, and knows how to give paw. He has been around cats where he gets overly excited but did not show aggression. Adopt me and let’s start our own goofy story together!

Hugo had been a part of our family for 10 years, and we believe he was around 1 when adopted. We've been very grateful to have a sweet dog that has been excellent with our kids. He has never been aggressive, and fortunately, has always gotten along with our other dog, a pit-mix. Not knowing his backstory, we believe he was abused in some way, because even though he is not aggressive, he is VERY anxious. Despite trying multiple tactics to cut his chewing behavior of our clothes and shoes, he can't seem to stop. This has cost us more than we're comfortable with, and has been a major stressor. It seems to have gotten worse with age. We are looking for a family without other dogs, who is attentive, and will show him lots of love and tenderness. He currently has no medical issues and is on no medication. Despite his anxious behavior, Hugo is a good and loyal dog, and deserves another caring home that will provide love and support for his remaining years.
