Adopted by boy (my nephew), his father agreed initially under the understanding THE CHILDREN would manage the pets as their father was then diagnosed with stage 2 cancer. While going through treatments, being in and out of the hospital, his immune system was non-existent. The single fathers' employment was also ceased leading to a no income state making for a difficult situation.Lack of support from his 3 children along with his medical troubles eventually lead to him losing the house; so there is no longer a place for BLUE. Unfortunately the children are not responsible enough to maintain BLUE as a loving pet as the home was required to be vacant by November 2026.While clearing out and placing items in storage, this dog was abandoned in the middle of the night at my residence. My lease doesn't allow pets and I may be evicted if he cannot be taken. He's a good dog that just needs a good home and family as he can no longer be cared for due to bad family circumstances.

Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
