He has grown up in a home with multiple children ranging in age from infants to 9 years old and has always done very well with them. He is also friendly with other animals and has been around both dogs and cats without issue. He is not aggressive and generally does not bark unnecessarily. He tends to bark only when he notices something unusual or feels that something is out of place. He is loving, loyal, and enjoys being part of the family. He truly is a wonderful dog and this decision has nothing to do with his behavior or temperament. We would love for him to go to a family who will give him plenty of affection, attention, and a loving home where he can continue to be part of the family.

From the Foster: Chonk is based from the character from goonies. Because he is obsessed with food, very silly, vocal, stubborn, dramatic, but loving! He is all business when it comes to food. He can hear a bag opening or me giving treats to my cats mile away, even if he is dead asleep. He would be best with a family that is experienced with strong willed dogs. When he isn’t busy chewing or playing, the. He wants to be next to you, especially on the couch or on the bed. He does have a high prey drive and loves to chase chickens, play rough with the cats, overtake rabbits, and enthusiastically shakes his plush toys. He has started potty training and it good with ques to go poo poo or pee pee or potty. I open the door when they wake up and they know to go outside to relieve himself. He is going to be a big boy! He is very confident, brave, curious, energetic, strong willed, and happy guy! If he falls down he shakes it off and continues on his way.He is hot blooded, as he rather be cool and not wrapped up in blankets. He will sleep on the floor if it’s too hot or away from you once he gets too hot. But he loves our pomchi puppy, big rescue pup, and all the other animals. We don’t ha e kids, so not sure. But he needs to work on his bite, as it ca be hard. Other than that he is a delight!!

Hola!! Mi amo Winona, como esta??? I am doing pretty well! Except I am still looking for my furever family.... :( I was found as a very very young puppy, with my siblings on the side of the road. No one knows where my mama is... unfortunately in the south LOTS of "people" would rather kill the product of unaltered female and male dogs than actually just get them spayed and neutered......... and very likely that is why we were left so carelessly on the side of a road at 2 weeks old.... just to die... Anyway, off my soapbox because so so many people and rescues in the south are working hard to overcome stupidity and do the right thing so it doesn't happen to other pups! I am a sweet and really gorgeous girl. My siblings and I looked very pittie and weimaraner size/temperament and personality wise. I have a gorgeous apricot colored coat with some blonde highlights (the kind you get at a fancy hairdresser :), mine were FREE :) I am now 3.6 yrs old and in my maturity I have stopped all the puppy antics- no chewing, barking, digging, peeing or pooping all over the place for me!! i am well mannered, will hang out with you while you work and then we can go for a walk or a run and then binge watch Masterchef (I LOVE ME some GORDON RAMSAY!!) until we get sleepy! That is my ideal day, so if you are down for hanging out with me all the time, fill out the adoption application and just give me happy and loving home please!! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Sushi is great with kids and truly needs a family that will love her and give her the time. She knows several commands, including sit, stay, down, off, go home, up-up, and go for it. Sushi loves bones, and providing her with a bone can help prevent her from chewing on other things. Catahoula hound mix looking for a forever home! I found this beautiful sweet puppy about a week ago near my home. She tested positive for ringworm and tapeworm which she is currently being treated for. The ringworm is clearing up pretty well and should be gone in a few weeks. Then she can be spayed. She’s about 16 weeks old, 24 pounds and growing, and could possibly be a Catahoula hound mix. She’s got typical puppy energy, loves to play, cuddle, and has been pretty clingy with me. We are working on crate training, potty training, appropriate chewing behavior, and simple commands. She’s going to be such a great dog with the right home. I believe she would do well with children that are middle school aged or older. Very smart and needs someone who has the time and energy to give her the life that she deserves. Rehoming fee for $100 to help cover upcoming boosters.

This boy was found around Jul 11 at a Refuel gas station on 1604 and New Sulphur Springs. His microchip was unregistered and no owner has come forward. I'm now fostering and helping rehome him! (If you recognize him or own him please lmk! Proof of ownership will be required)Name: Doesn't really have one. Been referring to him as Buddy for nowAge: 1-1.5 years oldSize: 47lbsTemperament: He has the personality and energy level to match low to medium active families. Great couch potato but has short burst of zoomies that last maybe 2 minutes. He walks VERY well on leash, has EXCELLENT house manners, potty trained and doggy door trained. He knows basic obedience but doesn't have the drive for sporting or anything more than chilling at home.
