Dieter is an absolutely incredible and gorgeous Weimaraner! He possesses a truly remarkable balance between energetic playfulness and blissful `chill mode.` His disposition is nothing short of lovely – he is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and enjoys nothing more than curling up close to you, preferably snuggled right on top of you! He`s a fantastic sleeper and loves attention.Dieter is fully crate-trained, but he doesn`t need to be confined. He has full access to his foster`s house. He is exceptionally smart, picking up new things very quickly. He walks quite well on a leash, and is currently working on maintaining consistency to prevent any pulling. He loves his dog toys and never chews on anything he shouldn`t. Dieter is exceptionally friendly with people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He seems largely unconcerned with cats, but squirrels are a different story – he loves observing them from the window and often patrols the trees in the yard. Ideally, he would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard or an owner who is enthusiastic about providing him with plenty of opportunities for exercise; another dog would be a wonderful addition, but it`s not essential. Dieter is simply an outstanding dog, and his future family will be incredibly fortunate to welcome him into their lives.This is a Pay It Forward dog. This means the adoption donation of $550 will help to save another pup needing rescue and vetting. Sweet Fonzie is a 10-year-old male Pointer/Hound mix and weighs about 80 pounds. He is potty-trained, does great in his kennel, sleeps through the night and can generally be trusted on his own in the house (even though he hasn’t been left alone for too, too long yet in his foster home). Fonzie’s favorite things are cuddling, snacks, sniffing and being the best boy!! He gets along with dogs and cats – and loves to play chase, and he loves people of all shapes and sizes. In addition to being top-notch cuddlers, Fonzie’s new family will need to have a fenced yard, OR have a strong person to take him on walks because he’s quite strong and wants to pull towards awesome sniffies and other playful pups. He will need continued work on this so he can be a more polite walking buddy. Fonz is very food-motivated which will help with his continued training. He already knows several commands, including sit, paw, here, and down – and has learned “in” to go to his kennel when its meal time. Fonzie is proving to be a super smart pup and will thrive with a family who will continue to keep his mind occupied and teach him new things – can cuddle with him a lot. If you’re looking to help Fonzie thrive in his later years, you won’t be disappointed!
