While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. I’m a beautiful 55-lb liver, white & roan Brittany/GSP mix, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I LOVE with my whole heart. I’m healthy, spayed, heartworm and tick negative, and on prevention. Now all I’m missing is my forever family. I’m the perfect combination of silly and snuggly. I’ll get a case of the zoomies, race around and enjoy myself, and then—just like that—I’m ready to curl up beside you for some serious couch time. ️ I’m pretty sure being a professional cuddle buddy is the job I was born to do. And personal space? Well… I may have heard of it. If you’re my person, I want to be with you. That’s why getting a good picture of me can be tricky—I’d much rather be leaning against you, sitting beside you, or soaking up your love than posing for the camera. Please contact Marie for more information about this pet.Griff is a 2-year-old liver & white Brittany who loves prowling the yard for critters.  He loves to play with his chuckit frisbee and does very well at catching it before it hits the ground.  He knows sit, stay, come and does not jump.  His previous owner sent him to hunting and obedience training and is supposed to be a good hunter.  With the way he is in his fosters yard, he sure seems like he would be.  He is e-collar trained and has excellent recall.  He is a good rider in the car and UTV.  He is very well trained and would be an asset to any family.  Hi, I’m Griff and I am full of energy! I am looking for a home that will give me a lot of exercise with a large fenced yard so I can run and chase all the critters. I will also need off leash runs to get my energy out. When I came to my foster’s home, I wouldn’t cuddle at all, but I have learned that I really love to cuddle up on my foster’s lap in the morning while she has her coffee and sometimes in the evening.  I sleep in my own bed at night and do not even attempt to jump in my foster’s bed.  However, when their grandkids are here, I jump in bed with them and settle next to them for the night.  If I would be going to a home that has another dog, they cannot be the alpha or it will not work.  If the other dog, wants to play on my terms we will get along just fine.  I absolutely love my chuckit frisbee and need this to be thrown at least two times a day if not more.  Although I do like to play tug with my chuck it, if you ignore me, I will drop it at your feet so you can throw it again for me.  I am a very smart boy. Griff will need a lot of daily exercise with his new family and a lot of attention. Griff would be most happy in a home that has somebody with him most of the time as he doesn’t like it when he is not with you.  There should be a male figure in the household as he seems to be really attached to males.  He does not get kenneled when the fosters leave, but they do have a huge fenced in back yard that he roams when by himself.  He doesn’t try to climb the four-foot fence or dig under it.  He has anxiety and has been put on a daily pill, which has helped him tremendously with his anxiety.  He’s been checked from nose to tail and is up to date on all his vaccines, micro-chipped, neutered, heartworm negative and on preventative meds.  Now all that’s missing is his Furever Home!
