How this pet arrived: Pumbaa was brought in by a community member on April 19, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Pumbaa, a distinguished pup who's on the lookout for his new caring home! This senior gent may be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, his sweet and gentle nature shines through. Pumbaa enjoys nothing more than cozying up in a warm bed, and he dreams of finding a caring family who will provide him with all the comfort he deserves. With a penchant for tasty treats, the trick to winning over Pumbaa's heart can be found through his stomach with a few snacks and a lot of love. Despite his age, Pumbaa's spirit is youthful, and he's ready to embark on a new chapter of life filled with joy. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this charming senior, Pumbaa will be forever grateful for the chance to be your loyal companion. Pumbaa does have dental disease and will be in need of a follow up with your veterinarian and a dental surgery as soon as possible. Think Pumbaa might be the one for you? Lupa is very energetic little girl. She is about 3 years old and is a wired hair terrier mix. She does like bark a lot and needs a lot of space to run around and play. She is not good with other dogs or with other animals in the home.  Lupa can be aggressive with strangers at times. She needs a lot of supervision as she can be destructive to household items and has seperation anxiety as well.  Lupa has trouble with one of her eyes and may require daily cleaning of her eyes.We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting any dog is by appointment ONLY currently. Appointments can be set up to meet any dog in San Diego. Currently we are unable to do any out-of-state adoptions. They have stayed in our fully equipped sanctuary, which care for over 1,000 dogs yearly, and has an onsite fully equipped hospital, and takes care of hospice cases and senior dogs. We specialize in hospice/older dogs. We are always looking for donation to continue our week and would appreciate any donation to help all the dogs we help yearly.
