Location: Ramsey, MN
Meet this sweet, sun-loving girl! At around 1-year-old, she’s the perfect mix of gentle companion and professional couch snuggler. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and situations, but give her a little time and patience and she’ll happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Her favorite hobbies include lounging in the sunshine, exploring the yard with her nose, and curling up beside you for marathon cuddle sessions. She walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys stopping to investigate all the interesting smells along the way. She’s been around young children (ages 1, 3, and 6 years) and has been calm and respectful, and she’s shown the same easygoing attitude when passing other dogs on walks.
She prefers to carefully evaluate new things before diving in. Doorways, thresholds, and kennels can seem suspicious at first, but once she realizes they aren’t plotting against her, she moves through them just fine with a little guidance. She may sing a short “please don’t leave me” song when first settling into her kennel, but she quickly quiets down and relaxes. She’s been a wonderful house guest so far with no accidents and no interest in redecorating the house by chewing belongings. Her recall is still a work in progress, so she’s not quite ready for an off-leash adventure career, but she’s eager to learn. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, affectionate dog who just needs a little time to blossom, this lovely girl is ready to steal your couch, and your heart.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
