Hi, my name is Momo, and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m a sweet, mellow, easygoing guy who may take a little time to warm up to new people—especially men. Once I get to know you, though, I’m a wonderful companion with lots of love to give. I’m a pretty easy dog to have around the house. I’ve been very quiet and calm in my foster home, and I’m happy to relax and enjoy some downtime. But don’t let my mellow personality fool you—I also have an athletic side! I love going for walks, although I tend to walk like I’m on a mission! I’m working on my leash skills, and I’m expected to do well with regular leash walks for potty breaks and exercise as I continue practicing. If you’re looking for a walking or running buddy, I’ll definitely help keep you moving! I also love toys and bones, and I’d be thrilled to have another dog companion in my forever home. A canine friend isn’t required, though—I can be happy either way. I know the commands “come” and “stay,” and I’m continuing to learn and build my good-dog skills. I’m also surprisingly athletic for a short-legged guy! I can even jump a tall baby gate, so my forever family will want to keep that impressive talent in mind. With my energy and athleticism, I might even have fun trying agility training! When I’m inside, though, I’m the definition of chill. I’m quiet, easygoing, and happy to settle down after some exercise. If you’re looking for a sweet guy who can enjoy an active adventure with you and then happily relax at home, I might be your Momo! â¤ï¸ I’m a growing puppy and I have not yet had a lot of experience with crates, kids or cats and I might bark if something alarms me, but I really love to learn and hoping for a family who will take me to a basic obedience class to continue to help me build confidence and dog skills. Ideally my forever home would need to be home during the day to help me with my potty training and not leave me for breaks longer than 3 - 4 hours. Get your toy box ready! **Obedience classes are required when adopting this puppy from Underdog Rescue. Many of our puppies have a mama who was not properly socialized before coming to Underdog Rescue. Since coming to Underdog, this puppy has been in a socialized and loving home, but that needs to be continued with its Adopters. Training classes teach puppies the ins and outs of being a pet while creating a bond with their new Adopter. Obedience classes are key to creating a relationship with your puppy while having it be a happy and successful member of society. Proof of Obedience Class registration is required for this puppy before adoptions can be finalized. If you would like some suggestions, we would be happy to send some trainers who have experience with Underdog Rescue, but a Basic Obedience class in your area should work! He is, without question, the King of Sleeping. If napping were an Olympic sport, Gary would bring home the gold, the silver, and probably a commemorative snack. When he’s awake, he transforms into a slow‑moving shadow who follows his human around with the dedication of a very mellow bodyguard. He loves short strolls outside where he can sniff the neighborhood news, feel the breeze, and pretend he’s still a spry young lad. Then he returns inside to resume his royal duties: couch snuggling, belly‑rub requesting, and gentle snoring. Gary has a few special senior quirks—he’s partially blind, partially deaf, a little wobbly, and needs eye drops and daily pain meds. Stairs are not his thing, but being carried like the tiny prince he is suits him just fine. He’s working on potty training and does well on a schedule, especially since he sleeps through the night like a champion. He’s friendly with everyone, polite with dogs, and happiest in a calm home where he can nap in peace and enjoy his favorite hobby: eating treats. All treats. Any treats. Every treat. Winston was found injured and alone on the streets. He was so timid and traumatized. But even through all the fear, one thing was clear… Winston just wanted to be loved and feel safe. After only two weeks, this sweet boy has completely started to blossom. His happy tail is out, he’s running around, playing with the other dogs, and showing us the silly, loving boy hiding underneath all that fear. Winston is the sweetest little lover. He absolutely melts into affection and will happily let you hold him and love on him as much as your heart desires. He’s wonderful in his kennel, eats like a perfect gentleman, and takes treats so gently. Now Winston is ready for the part of his story he’s been waiting for—a forever family who will show him that he is safe, cherished, and loved unconditionally. His past may have been heartbreaking, but his future can be beautiful. Winston is ready to begin his new journey.
