Meet Sterling Sterling is the kind of dog who believes personal space is optional and love should be constant. His favorite place to be is right next to his people — preferably touching them in some way so he never loses track of you. A paw on your head, a lean against your leg, or a full-body snuggle on the couch… Sterling is all in. Sterling is both vision and hearing impaired, which means the world can sometimes feel a little confusing. Because of this, he relies heavily on his people and finds comfort in physical closeness, routine, and reassurance. Once he knows he’s safe, his sweet, affectionate personality shines through in the most beautiful way. He genuinely wants to be the goodest boy. New situations (like vet visits) can be a bit scary, but he tries so hard and responds wonderfully to patience, consistency, and gentle guidance. At home, he’s playful and curious, and with structure he does great navigating his space. Sterling would thrive in a calm, predictable home with adopters who understand that his impairments don’t limit his ability to love — they simply deepen the bond he forms with his people. In return, he offers unwavering devotion, constant companionship, and a heart that is fully yours.
