I was found as a stray until Love Connection stepped in and saved me. A little about my history. Unfortunately, I was forced to be a young mother and sadly I wasn't treated kindly as I am a bit timid and shy when you first meet me. But despite that, will you please let me show you that I do not have a mean bone in my body? I get along great with other dogs and even cats too! I haven't been able to have much experience with children yet so it is recommended that I get to live in a home with children 10 and older. I enjoy going for walks and I do very well on a leash! I love to play with toys! And when I'm very comfortable, I even love to enjoy snuggle time with my humans. Lastly, I will need an adopter who would be willing to put in the time, love, and patience into building that special bond with me and a home that is relatively calm! I'm not as serious as my photo makes me look. I'm really a cuddly little girl who loves to play and hang out with everyone. I do well with other dogs that like to play, but I don't want to share my mommy so I will be happiest in a home with no other dogs (you can take me to small dog parks with separate sections for little dogs so I can play!). I am residing with one of the amazing Friends for Life foster homes, and I'll be at the adoption center on Saturdays from 10am-4pm, or you may email Debbie@AzFriends.org to arrange a weekday meeting.All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

This boy had such a rough start, his owner died, and he end up at a kill shelter for 300 days. It’s a miracle he was still alive when we got him he is such a lover, and so calm. He is house and crate trained so you can let him sleep while you're at work. great with dogs and kids, he is the perfect easy family dog. Sammy's favorite past-time activity is playing fetch and will do anything for a tennis ball. All he wants is to have a calm house where he can play with his forever parents.
