She was found all alone on the streets in Puerto Rico as a young puppy, but you would never know it from her loving personality. Winnie is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and playful. She loves people and does great with kids and other dogs. She has not been cat tested yet. She is the kind of puppy who will happily play and explore, then curl up for cuddles once she is tired. She is a Sato, which is the name used for Puerto Rican street dogs. Satos are known for being resilient, loyal, and wonderful family companions. Winnie is working on crate, leash, and potty training and is looking for a family who will continue helping her learn and grow. Winnie is being fostered in Annapolis, MD. PLEASE READ: Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home with new people and a new schedule. Please be ready to train ANY dog you adopt! Also, please understand we can not guarantee breed or full grown size of any young dog or puppy. Thank you for understanding.

Niabi may be a little shy at first, but give her a day, a few tasty treats, and a little patience—and you’ll discover the sweetest velcro girl you could ask for. Once she bonds, she’s all yours, happily sticking by your side through every part of the day. She tends to connect more quickly with women, while men may need to give her a bit of extra time to earn her trust. But once she feels safe, her true personality shines—happy, playful, and full of life! Niabi LOVES to play, and stuffed toys don’t stand a chance in her world—she’ll happily shred them like it’s her full-time job. She’s also got the cutest excitement hops, jumping up in the air when it’s time to eat or go potty. It’s impossible not to smile watching her celebrate the little things. She does great with other dogs and even cats, making her a wonderful addition to a multi-pet home. And when she chooses her person, she loves deeply—staying close, soaking up affection, and giving it right back.
