I am past my time of able to keep Carson, please save him from having to be surrendered. I am hoping to have someone adopt him and him go to a loving home. As a family we took in Carson 10 years ago, since then I am now divorced from my ex isn’t able to take him. Carson loves everyone has been good with my girls even when they were younger, good with other dogs. It hurts to have to rehome him but I think it is what is best for him. He is 10 full of tons of energy, wants to cuddle will put his head against your chest to give hugs.

Maisie, also called Maisle is just the sweetest, little girl who is a China meat trade survivor.  We are so happy to have her.  She is going into a foster home after a toe issue is being evaluated at NorthStar.  We take no chances and want our dogs to have the best care from the moment they arrive in the U.S.   We are assured by the doctors that she will be fine!  Maisie has been a real charmer to all the volunteers and certainly to the medical staff at NorthStar--what a sweet personality she has.   Maisie is 3 years old and although she loves people, no cats please.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 1, 2026, 2:26 pm

Meet this sweet little girl! At about 5 months old and  and only 15 pounds, we feel she  may be a Whippet–Lab mix, though her breed is a guess. She was found alone beside a highway in the middle of nowhere, and she bravely went right up to the person who stopped to help her.  She’s affectionate, loves to snuggle, and likes staying close to her foster person. She’s doing great with the foster’s cats and gets along with other dogs. When meeting a new dog, she may be a little hesitant and give a small growl at first, but once she has a moment to settle in, she’s comfortable.She’s nearly house-trained, with only a couple of accidents. She sleeps in her crate at night; she may whine briefly when she first goes in, then settles down. And if you’re looking for a bed snuggler, she’d be delighted to cuddle up with you!This loving girl has already won over her foster family and they can't say enough about her.  . ✨Meet Faith!✨ Faith came to us as a transfer from ACCT after being found as a stray and having nowhere else to go but the only open intake shelter serving the entire city of Philadelphia. She was extremely underweight when found, but she has been nothing but a sweetheart! Due to overcrowding, this sweet dog was at risk of euthanasia but was thankfully transferred into our care to find a loving forever home. All of our animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchipping, vaccinations, and any other necessary medical care. After adoption, dogs need time to adjust to their new homes and thrive with families who can provide exercise, enrichment, positive reinforcement training, and socialization.
