Story
Oakley is almost 9 years old and has been with our family for nearly four years. She came into our lives while we were house- and dog-sitting, when we realized she wasn’t getting the care she deserved. We brought her home, and she’s been a loving, loyal part of our family ever since. She is incredibly gentle and affectionate, with zero aggression. Oakley is a true “shadow dog” who loves to be close to her people, especially momma. She’s happiest cuddling on the couch, following you from room to room, and giving sweet kisses. As we prepare to welcome a baby, we’re facing some difficult realities. Oakley stays very close underfoot, creating safety concerns when carrying a newborn. In addition, my disabled father-in-law lives with us full time and is highly allergic to dogs. Oakley would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can be someone’s constant companion. This decision is not due to behavior issues—only love and responsibility.

He is very active and loves to run, play, and explore everything around him. Curiosity leads the way for Seath, and he enjoys discovering his world one step at a time. While he isn’t a big cuddler due to his inquisitive nature, Seath always makes sure to check back in with his people. If he’s separated from them even briefly, he greets them with pure joy—hopping excitedly and whimpering with happiness to show how much he missed them. Because of his small size and energetic play style, Seath would do best in a home with older children. He would also love having a playful companion to share adventures with. One of his favorite things is enjoying his hoof or a tasty chicken foot after a busy day of fun. She loves playing with her siblings, romping around with her plush toys, and spending quality time cuddling and giving kisses to her people. Full of energy and curiosity, Ivory enjoys running around and exploring her surroundings with enthusiasm. Because of her petite size, Ivory would do best in a home without small children. After she’s had her fill of playtime and adventure, her favorite place to be is curled up next to her person, settling in for a cozy nap. Ivory and her siblings were heartbreakingly found at just four weeks old, left in a taped box at a landfill.
