Lola is a sweet older girl. We think is about 11 years old. She is black with gray highlights. She was rescued, but has been raised with children. She is pretty quiet, doesn't bark much. She is very interested in squirrels. She likes to cuddle. She becomes nervous when there are loud noises or when she is left alone.

He melts when you hold him and that is his happy place. He has lots of energy for the zoomies but he loves to to be with you whether you are on the sofa chilling or running a race. He will probably be faster than you. Only the $75 transport fee is due to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas to one of the 7 locations on our transport route. The $100 adoption fee is not due until you pick him/her up on the transport date at the location you select. You also have the option to designate someone else to pick up your pet. If you haven’t yet seen our Facebook Reels of past adoptions and transports, please do so. Greg King Canine Recovery dog rescue is located at 484 Farren Road in Texarkana, Texas 75503. Once a month, we transport all pre-adopted dogs and puppies to the following 7 cities because all of the shelters in our area are kill shelters, so we try to save all that we can by getting them adopted and transporting them to their new homes. These 7 cities are currently on our transport route. Poplar Bluff, Missouri Arnold, Missouri Springfield, Illinois Bloomington, Illinois Rockford, Illinois Joliet, Illinois Kalamazoo, Michigan Please contact me, Latrell King, at 903-280-4233 for adoption questions. Please send a text before calling and then you can also leave a voicemail because I don't typically have my phone with me in the kennels. I will return your call or respond to your message ASAP. Once you complete an application, we will process it to get it approved. If it is approved, I will send you the "Approval Letter" via text followed by the "Transport Roster Information form" The Transport Roster Information form will guide you to select your pickup location and provide links to pay the $75 Transport fee. The adoption fee is not due until you pick up your new dog/puppy on the scheduled transport day. Following are ballpark estimates of our arrival at each transport location. I will also send a live Google Map link so that adoptive parents can follow our travel progress from one pick up location to the next. 1. PetSmart 1606 East Empire Street Bloomington, Illinois (1 hour driving time from Springfield, Illinois) 7 AM - 9 AM CST 5. PetSmart (Parking Lot) 6320 East State Street Rockford, Illinois 61108 (3 hours driving time from Springfield plus fuel & rest area stops) 10:00 -1:00 CST 6. PetSmart (Parking Lot) 2775 Plainfield Rd, Joliet, IL 60435 (2 hours driving time from Rockford plus fuel & rest area stops) 2 PM - 4 PM 7. Walmart Supercenter, 501 N 9th St, Kalamazoo, MI 49009 (3 hours driving time from Joliet, Illinois plus fuel & rest area stops) Eastern time We will park down from the Pharmacy drive thru facing chain link fence 8. Everest is one of our Whippet/Golden Retriever mix puppies that came to us from Illinois Doberman Rescue after being discovered in the barn where they were born. They were scared and under-socialized, not having much contact with humans prior to this. They arrived at our shelter understandably shy, unsure, and overwhelmed by the world around them. Everest was the most fearful of human interaction and he has been in a foster home learning to trust humans. He quickly learned how comfy the couch and bed are and enjoys to press up against a person for warmth. He has a blast playing with other dogs and running full speed in the yard. He is living with a very dog tolerant cat who enjoys wrestling and being chased. Everest enjoys short bouts of chasing the cat but will also cuddle on the couch with him. Everest is still not comfortable with being on a leash so a yard is a must at this time. This sweet natured pup is looking for a patient home that will go at his pace in discovering all that life has to offer!
