🐾 Meet Julia! 🐾 Julia is a beautiful girl with an adorable brindle coat and a heart full of love just waiting to shine! 💕 This sweet girl can be quite nervous when meeting new people or adjusting to new surroundings, but underneath her reserved exterior is an affectionate, playful pup who truly enjoys attention once she feels comfortable. Julia is looking for a calm, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace and have a safe space to call her own. With a little time, understanding, and lots of love, her sweet personality begins to blossom! 🌸 One thing that really brings Julia out of her shell is other dogs! 🐶❤️ She absolutely loves her canine friends and becomes much more confident and playful when she's around other fun-loving pups. Because of this, Julia must go to a home with another dog who can help her feel comfortable, show her the ropes, and be her best buddy! One of Julia's favorite things to do is RUN! 🐕💨 She loves stretching her legs and having fun, especially with other playful dogs! A home with a securely fenced-in yard is highly recommended so she can safely run, play, and enjoy herself. Julia is also okay with cats! 🐱💕 Julia may need a little extra patience in the beginning, but she has so much love to give. With a calm environment, a playful canine companion, and a family willing to give her the time and space she needs, Julia has everything she needs to blossom into a happy, confident girl. Could you be the one to give this special pup her happily ever after? 🏡💕 Meet Julia, a sweet and affectionate girl with so much love to give! She may be reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines. Julia adores attention, cuddles, and spending time with her favorite people. Potty trained and eager to please, Julia is also playful, energetic, and happiest when she has room to run. If you’re looking for a gentle, devoted companion who will reward your patience with endless affection, Julia may be the perfect addition to your family. All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

Story

Meet Sophia…. Sophia is an adorable puppy, thought to be a Whippet – Black Lab Mix; she’s petite with a dainty bone structure vs the more solid bone structure of a Lab!! She’s very smart, a quick learner, very alert and quite energetic!! At about 4 months, Sophia weighs 16 lbs. It is most important to note that we cannot be 100% sure of her adult weight, but our best guess is about 35-40 lbs. This cute pup joined BAARK from an overcrowded shelter in Kentucky earlier this year. She is thought to have been born around November 24 2022. When joining our rescue program, Sophia appeared happy, playful, and must have sensed that she was “free!” and safe!! Sophia is very sociable, outgoing, playful, and is great with dogs, but can be annoying to older, more well mannered dogs; she would be far too energetic for a senior (dog or human!) An ideal family for Sophia is one able to assimilate the energy of a puppy into their lifestyle and is willing to commit the time to working with and training Sophia to be her best self! A fenced yard is ideal as is another younger or middle-aged pup in the family. Perhaps you’d consider adopting Sara along with Sophia…the girls are sisters!! Sophia is crate-trained and is working on good house manners (housebreaking). She is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations, is on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Her spay is included in her adoption fee. For information about adding this adorable girl to your family please contact BAARKDogRescue@gmail.com or 847-852-0895.
