She is looking for a semi active dog experienced family with a securely fenced yard. She will enjoy having another dog companion in the home or will be fine as an only dog.. She is very loving and affectionate. She likes dogs, cats and kids over 6 yrs of age. She likes dog beds, walks and car rides. She is crate trained and house trained. . L & S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 800,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Hi, my name is Maddi and I am from Arkansas. From her foster: Maddi is calm and pretty quiet and likes to nap on the couch or under the covers with her chosen human. She especially enjoys playtime with dog friends and hasn’t met one she doesn’t like. Maddi has a great time running and exploring the fenced in yard and going for walks with the resident dog. She is improving on her leash skills and is showing more confidence in new outdoor environments. She goes most nights without an accident, and uses pee pads if she just can’t hold it. She gets the idea that outside is the place to go. She is startled a bit by loud noises, but is showing improvement in this area as she gets used to new people and places. She is shy with new people, but once she knows you, she likes to be petted and will cuddle in her favorite spot. Her ideal home is quiet and patient, with people committed to positive training. With time and consistency, Maddi has all the potential to truly shine.
