🐾 Meet Xena — A Playful, Loving Mama Ready for Her Own Happy Ending! 💕
Xena is a beautiful 1-year-old Border Collie/Whippet mix with a big heart, a playful spirit, and so much love to give!
After caring for her four puppies, this young mama is ready to enjoy some fun, attention, and a forever family of her own. ❤️
💕 A Little Patience, A Whole Lot of Personality!
Xena may take a moment to decide whether someone new is trustworthy, but once she feels comfortable, her personality really shines!
Her foster describes her as a happy, friendly, affectionate girl who loves being around her people. She's equally happy soaking up attention or entertaining everyone with her playful antics.
And does this girl LOVE to play! Toys, games, and romping around with canine friends are some of her favorite things. She's got plenty of youthful energy and enthusiasm to share!
🐶 A Friend to Other Dogs!
Xena is very dog-friendly and loves playing with other pups. Although she was initially intimidated by the larger dogs in her previous foster home, she quickly grew more comfortable and discovered just how much fun having canine companions can be.
She could make a wonderful playmate for another friendly, energetic dog, with appropriate introductions.
Her foster also suspects she'd enjoy a family with children, although her playful energy may be a bit much for very young kids. A home with older children may be a better fit.
Her compatibility with cats hasn't been evaluated.
🏡 Smart, Sweet & Learning Every Day!
Xena is already making great progress with her house and kennel training! Her temporary foster reports no accidents so far, and she's adjusting beautifully to her routine.
She's still learning basic obedience and leash manners, but she's an eager, bright young dog who should do well with patient, consistent guidance.
With regular playtime, exercise, toys, and plenty of affection, Xena has all the makings of a wonderful companion.

Xena has already spent part of her young life caring for her puppies. Now it's her turn to be the center of someone's world!
