Location- Wayside Waifs CampusMy Friends at Wayside say:-I’m smart and food/treat motivated -During my time at Wayside, I have enjoyed being around other dogs.-The world is so exciting, and I’m still learning how to contain my excitement -Chews, Kong-like feeders, puzzle toys—help to keep me entertained!-I am enrolled in Waifs with Wisdom. This is a program for dogs to learn basic commands and leash walking skills. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session.My home needs are:-It`s recommended I go home to an active home.-Wayside recommends bringing your children 9 years old and younger out to meet me before adoption to make sure they enjoy my enthusiasm for life!

Pet Location: Wayside Waifs Campus Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: -I’m smart and food/treat motivated. -I already know some commands!-I was house-trained in my previous home.-Volunteers say that I walk well on leash here at the shelter. My home needs are: -I need alone time when eating or playing with my toys. For that reason, kids in the home need to be 6 years old and older. -Cats and small mammals are much too interesting to me, so my home will need to be cat and small mammal free.Hey there, I’m Roxy! I’m a 10-year-old whippet/terrier mix with a cute red coat, big ears, and plenty of personality! I love taking walks, being outside, and hopping in a car for a ride. I love being near my people, especially when it means cuddling in a lap or leaning in for some good neck scratches. I’m also pretty smart! I know some commands, I’m house trained, and love treats (especially the soft ones) are a great way to get my attention.When the fun is over, I am perfectly happy curling on the couch with my family. However, I do need some personal space during mealtime, and cats, and small mammals are a little too interesting for me, so I’ll need a home without them. I may be an older gal, but I have plenty of love, cuddles, and adventure to share. Come meet me at Wayside Waifs!Love, Roxy
